The Bella Guest House

We stayed at the Bella Guest House and toured Varanasi . The Bella is located in the center of the town and very close to the Dashashwamedh Ghat, known for its evening aarti ceremony. We appreciate the care and service provided by the owner Anadi and his team. He was mindful of our request (e.g., for toilet paper, extra pillows, extra sheets, etc) and even allowed us to stay a little longer . We were able to store our luggage and explore the city , before taking an evening train. We recommend The Bella because Anadi showed us the beautiful face of India hospitality. Our stay was truely memorable.

Affordable rooms. It's more than just accommodation; The location is flawless—tucked away on a peaceful side street, yet only a short, easy walk from the main Ghats and the majestic Ganges River. I stayed here for three nights during my visit to Varanasi and really liked the place. The hotel has a calm vibe, which is a big plus in a busy city like this. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the air-conditioning worked well even in the heat. The staff were kind and helped with directions and local tips, which made getting around much easier. For the price, it’s really good value. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay without spending too much, I’d definitely recommend this place.

Had a wonderful stay in Banaras. The hospitality was truly warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The staff was extremely friendly, polite, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more comfortable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained with all modern amenities. The overall ambiance perfectly blends luxury with the peaceful vibe of Banaras. the service was prompt. Overall, it was a very pleasant and memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Banaras and looking for comfort, quality service, and a relaxing stay. 😊

I have got to say this is one of the most friendly guest houses I have stayed in. The owner and people that work there are amazing and really welcoming. Ok so it’s not the ritz but for the price you pay, it is amazing value for money. It is so close to the Dasashwamedh Ghat where you can see the Aarti in the evening (amazing) and close to the major sights in Varanasi. We only had one day in Varanasi but as soon as we arrived Anant sent us a list of then best places to visit whilst there and explained everything. The day of leaving we wanted to do as much as we could before leaving so asked Anant if he knew any genuine tour guides (most are scammers, or just over price it because we are British) and he arranged and put us in touch with a really nice guy called Kshitij, he speaks very good English and it was a really fair price for a whole day from 5am till 5pm. Kshitij was so knowledgable about the place and it was interesting. Most places we were able to get to on foot, but the others we just took a short tuk tuk 🛺 ride. He didn’t let us get ripped off once, so the money you save on not getting ripped off or scammed is worth paying the guide for. I wanted a ride on a motorbike to my night bus 7km Away and he made this happen too by taking me on his bike, scary but fun. Honestly such a nice stay and well worth it. Thank you, Aaron & Dan.
