There have been multiple incidents of serious negligence. On several occasions, the caretaker has forgotten to secure the dogs at night, leaving them roaming outside the society. Many times, neighbours had to step in to help locate the fostered dogs, and thankfully the dogs were found each time. The same incident happened again last night, and when neighbours called the owner, his response was extremely casual. It’s also important to note that the owner does not stay at the foster home; only caretakers are present. There was another disturbing incident where a lab or golden retriever had a seizure during a walk, and instead of helping the dog, the caretaker kept dragging them. I came to know about this place via reference. Though sceptic I decided to take the leap of faith. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. My Golden Retriever was boarded at Mowgli for 4 nights and throghout the time I was getting regular updates and videos/snaps of what my pet was upto. He was taken out for regular walks, fed well and was taken good care of. The best thing for me here was that there were no kennels as my pet is not accustomed to cages. Some learned people have said nothing is perfect and there is always a scope for improvement, same applies here as well. I feel the overall place needs to improve from an aesthetic and higene point of view. I am sure it will improve and will be the sought-after place for pet boarding.
