Review post: A few weeks back I took help from this group about a foster home for my pet and got suggestions of Furrylovers. My 2 year old lab stayed there for 10 days. He is happy, good care was taken. The best part was he had watery eyes which is now cured with good medication. I was really happy with his daily video clips and that he got one company too which he really enjoyed. A good place for some of us who don't compromise with safety and health of their pets. I initially did not write much about why I gave the one star rating, but after the owner's comment, I feel a need to warn other pet parents about this place. The grooming area was very unhygienic and was being used as a storage with open construction material kept in reach of pets. They had no proper facilities and just one grooming board. The place looked like it has not been cleaned in ages and can make pets sick. I care for my pets which is the reason behind this rating. Anyone who is planing to take there pets here for groom should first check the grooming area, which is a tiny dingy room, not even a part of the store but situated in a narrow lane opposite the road. The owners fail to understand the basic concept of hygiene. Instead of attacking me on my parenting, the owner's need to work on improving their system.

I am writing this review to share my extremely disappointing and painful experience with this pet shop. I purchased a 2-month-old Shih Tzu puppy from this shop on January 10, 2026. For the first week, the puppy appeared healthy. However, soon after, he developed a runny nose. When I contacted the pet shop, I was told it was just a mild cold and advised to keep him warm. While the symptoms reduced slightly, the problem did not fully resolve. After a few days, my puppy’s right back leg became weak, and he began whimpering continuously throughout the night. I again contacted the pet shop, and they claimed the puppy might have been injured. This explanation was unreasonable, as the puppy was always kept safely in his kennel and was never exposed to any situation where he could have been hurt. As his condition worsened and the crying increased, I took him to another veterinarian. After examination, the vet diagnosed my puppy with Canine Distemper (CD). The vet initially questioned why the CD vaccine had not been administered at an early age. I explained that I had received the puppy from this pet shop at around 1.5 months of age, and no CD vaccination had been given, nor was I informed or advised by the pet shop to get this critical vaccine immediately. The veterinarian clearly stated that the pet shop was at fault for selling an unvaccinated puppy and failing to provide proper guidance. Sadly, the disease progressed to a stage where the only option left was to give injections to ease my puppy’s suffering so he could pass away peacefully. This has been an emotionally devastating experience. Selling puppies without essential vaccinations and without informing new owners is extremely irresponsible and unethical. I strongly urge others to be very cautious before purchasing a pet from this shop.
