HOTEL THE RIVERA

It was a nice stay if you talk about rooms, serving staff, cleanliness etc. but there are some staff at the counter are miscommunicating the facts and figures so owner should bother about this because I am not the first one dealing with such scenarios there are many traveller showing the same. So overall had good experience and ambience at the hotel room but hope for better.

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ Good Rooms but Be Careful at the Reception The rooms at Hotel The Rivera are really good — clean, spacious, and comfortable. Definitely value for money when it comes to room quality and stay experience. However, the main issue lies with the reception staff. They try to be a bit too smart and look for ways to get extra money from guests. In my case, I had called in advance and clearly mentioned that we were 5 people. The person on the call said, “Sir, don’t book online, come directly — we’ll give you a better price.” When we arrived, the rooms were ready and we were told to have dinner at a nearby restaurant while they prepared everything. After dinner, the receptionist suddenly changed the terms, saying the rooms were only for 4 people and demanded ₹400 extra for one person. When we said we’d book online, he claimed online booking wasn’t available — even though it was showing on the app. Eventually, after some discussion, he agreed to the earlier price. So yes, the rooms and overall stay are good, but be cautious about pricing at the reception — always double-check and confirm your booking details in writing or online.

The entrance of this hotel is really disappointing. The property is on the 2nd floor, and the ground floor is full of shops, so you have to walk through them to reach the lift. The lift itself is very small and the approach passage is quite stinky, making it difficult to even locate the hotel entrance. Room sizes are decent, but the cleanliness is not up to the mark. The linen didn’t seem clean, and the washrooms were very old with no exhaust fan. The tiles look outdated, and overall the bathroom felt sticky and poorly maintained. I even noticed spiders and webs in some corners, which was a big turn-off. This place might work if you’re strictly looking for a budget stay, but I didn’t find it suitable for families. Choose based on your priorities, but cleanliness and entrance experience definitely need improvement.

Have traveled to this Hotel on 15th Nov 2025, the location of this hotel is very good and centrally situated. Rooms are big in size and they accommodate your request for upgrading without any charges. Hotel staff and owner were very cooperative and helpful. Overall a very excellent stay in this hotel. It's a budget hotel however they try to accommodate all the request wherever possible. Mr Prakash the owner of the Hotel personally take care of everything.

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, with every comfort thoughtfully provided. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, always ready to help with a smile. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. Overall, an outstanding stay—I would absolutely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and excellent service
