Our newborn received excellent care from 11th September 2025 to 17th September 2025 at the NICU of Ramkrishna CARE Hospitals, Raipur. Special thanks to Dr. Pawan Jain Sir for their expert pediatric guidance, timely decisions, and compassionate treatment that gave us immense confidence. We are also deeply grateful to NICU doctor Dr. Namrata and nursing staff for their tireless efforts and home-like care: Sister Sadhna – for her patience and gentle handling while feeding and monitoring the baby with utmost care. Sister Mokshida – for her attentiveness in daily care, timely updates, and ensuring the baby’s comfort at all times. Sister Aakansha – for her kindness, warmth, and careful support during feeding and overall baby care. Feedback on Our Week-Long Stay at the Hospital (Cardiac Section) We were at the hospital for about a week for my father’s treatment in the Cardiac section. Here are my observations based on our experience: Positives: 1. Exceptional Staff: The staff across departments are truly commendable—kind, caring, and always pleasant to interact with. Their helpful attitude made a difficult time a little easier. 2. Gender-Inclusive Workforce: It’s refreshing to see a high number of female staff, even in areas like security. The hospital clearly values and supports gender equity in its workforce. 3. Dr. Jain (Cardiology): A special mention to Dr. Jain, whose expertise and patient-centered approach stand out. He takes time to explain everything in detail and instills confidence. 4. Cleanliness: The hospital premises are well maintained. Floors are regularly cleaned, and there are no flies or mosquitoes—a big plus. 5. Comprehensive Facility: The hospital has a large compound and houses all major medical departments and services under one roof. Areas Needing Improvement: 1. Canteen Hygiene: The canteen seems poorly maintained. The kitchen and mess hall appear unhygienic and shabby. It’s unclear whether it’s managed by the hospital or outsourced, but it definitely needs attention. 2. Cafeteria Limitations: The indoor cafeteria only offers packaged snacks, tea, and coffee—there is no kitchen facility. For a hospital of this size, the absence of a proper dining space is surprising and inconvenient. 3. Leakage Issues: The covered walkway near the pharmacy had water leaking through the roof during rains, which poses both discomfort and a safety risk. 4. Surroundings Outside the Compound: The areas just outside the hospital—shops, roads, and parking—are in very poor condition. Given the hospital’s influence, it would be beneficial if the management could push for improvements through local authorities. 5. Regency Hotel on Campus: We stayed one night at the Regency Hotel inside the hospital compound. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The room and linen were not clean, and we had to check out the very next day.
