I was looking for a pet trainer for ou dog " SHADOW " and I came across Tanvi Kulkarni ( Sniffing Snouts ). I immediately called her. She discussed all the details regarding the training sessions and we started the training. Although it was already late to start the training as our pet was 5.5 months old then and as they ( dogs ) already have developed their behavior by this time. But I must say, after we started the training we have seen many positive changes in him. Tanvi has guided us in each and everything for SHADOW. Be it his food, his harness, she suggested us to keep Fencing during Gauri Ganapati Festival and provided contacts for same and also for homestay. She has always cleared our silly doubts as well and helped us in becoming better pet parent. Tanvi is really very knowledgeable , helpful, punctual and a best professional trainer. We are based in Sydney and recently completed online training sessions with Tanvi for our Golden Retriever - Whiskey, and I couldn't be more impressed. Despite the distance, Tanvi’s virtual sessions and relevant reference materials were highly effective and engaging. They provided clear, actionable guidance tailored to my dog's needs, and her expertise in positive reinforcement techniques truly shone through. We have two indie dogs named Obie and Luna. Obie was a sweet little puppy who had missed his socialisation window and is very fearful of strangers and dogs. This became an issue when he grew older as he would show signs of fearful aggression towards others. We decided to get professional help for our fur baby as he was terrified of the outside world! I wish we would’ve enlisted Tanvi’s help sooner. She began by crafting a personalised training plan that would take around twelve sessions. Each session was dedicated to teaching Obie a new command and reinforcing the ones we’ve already learned. The sessions were fun and structured in a way to keep our dog’s attention on us. Given Obie’s fearful aggression, Tanvi could not always work with him in person but still she made sure that Obie was being trained as he needed to. Sometimes pet parents don’t always understand their dogs body language and ways of communication. A human-pet relationship is based on mutual trust and respect also! Understanding what upsets your dog and why they’re not listening to you is essential to any training process. Tanvi made us realise that practice and consistency are the most important things in training a dog, especially a reactive dog like our dear Obie. Tanvi taught us the basics of body language in dogs and the best ways to understand their needs. She also emphasises how important it is to remain PATIENT throughout your dog’s training sessions. My family and I are really happy with the way the training program was conducted by Tanvi. We now look forward to continuing Obie’s training, helping his reactivity more and giving him a peaceful life that he deserves! Tanvi was very good as a dog trainer. Her coordination and regular visits made a big difference in the training. She was very helpful in making us understand our Beagle, Yuzu. Even though Yuzu is a bit adamant at times, Tanvi patiently taught him new things and made him listen better. We are really thankful for her support and guidance throughout the process.

We had a wonderful experience working with Tanvi for our indie, Rochelle. Rochelle came with sensitivity issues and was even scared to step outside the house and despite of all this she was still an extremely active and mischievous dog at home. Tanvi was incredibly patient, calm and understanding throughout her training - from teaching her the basics to working on separation anxiety- she covered it all. Tanvi never rushed the process and always made sure Rochelle felt safe and supported.🤍 With Tanvi’s guidance, we’ve been able to work through a lot of Rochelle’s past traumas, and we can truly see the difference in her comfort level at home as well as outside! Rochelle is still a work in progress, but thanks to Tanvi’s consistent effort, empathy and expertise, she has started opening up and becoming more confident day by day. We’re so grateful to Tanvi for helping us understand our dog better and for walking with us through this training journey with so much care.
