Not Reliable for Emergencies Had a terrible experience at Vetic Vet Clinic, Kalyani Nagar (Pune). My cat was in a serious condition. I booked a 10:00 PM appointment, travelled 25 km, and after reaching was told the waiting time was 2 more hours. Only one doctor was available and there was no urgency shown despite it being an emergency. The staff and customer care seemed more focused on the very high late-night consultation fee than on helping a sick pet. Would not recommend this clinic for emergency cases.

I’m quite disappointed with my recent per grooming experience here. Before booking the appointment, I clearly informed the clinic that I only wanted a hygiene cut and a clean eye area, and specifically did not want a face trimming package. I was told I could communicate this directly to the groomer. Unfortunately, despite clearly mentioning this again, the groomer did not follow the instructions properly. The hygiene cut was incomplete and the genital area hair was left untouched, even the ear cleaning was not done. which defeats the entire purpose of a hygiene cut. It felt like poor coordination between the clinic and the groomer, and overall, not value for money. I hope the clinic improves communication and ensures groomers actually follow the instructions given by pet parents. Hygiene cuts are not cosmetic, they’re essential for a pet’s comfort and health.

We are sharing this review for Vetic because only after moving Kalu elsewhere due to equipment availability did we truly understand the importance of the care, empathy, and clarity we experienced at Vetic. Deep gratitude to Vetic — especially Dr. Omkar. After Kalu’s severe accident, our experience at Vetic will always stay with us, mainly because of Dr. Omkar, who was on night duty. Dr. Omkar didn’t treat Kalu as a case — he treated him like his own dog. He sat with Kalu through the night, continuously monitored his vitals, checked on him repeatedly, and even fed him by hand when needed. Most importantly, he explained Kalu’s condition clearly and honestly, without medical jargon, so we could truly understand what was happening. That transparency gave us emotional strength during a very difficult time. Even after we moved Kalu for further treatment, Dr. Omkar continued to assist and guide us, which showed genuine responsibility beyond duty hours. We also appreciated Vetic’s clean and well-organised setup — hygienic washrooms, drinking water, seating area, CCTV monitoring, and lift access between OPD and the critical care section. The lift is small but functional and helpful. Dr. Pradnya, Dr. Krutika, and the support staff were patient and respectful throughout. One constructive suggestion: Vetic would benefit from ensuring availability of all advanced medical equipment in-house, so critically injured pets don’t need to be moved elsewhere during emergencies. We are deeply thankful to Dr. Omkar and the Vetic team for the empathy, humanity, and professionalism they showed us and Kalu. — For Kalu 🐾
