Dr Bharat is AMAZING! He is that doctor who has the magic in his hands. We are taking our baby Enzo (Shih Tzu) to him from last 2 .5 years. He has obviously immense knowledge in what he is doing and he doesn't just prescribe something for the sake. He also helps with the documentation that are required for aboard travelling with your pet.

Experienced, knowledgeable, caring and fully equipped vet doctor. Highly recommended. Plenty of parking place. Has assistants to handle the Pet.

Dr. Bharat has been a very kind, helpful, and loving vet to my cat, Ollie. His treatment and clinical judgment have always been spot-on, and I’ve felt truly reassured by his care. He’s highly competent and gentle, and it’s clear he genuinely loves animals. However, the clinic setup could use some improvements. There’s a significant parking issue, and unfortunately, no proper waiting area. My Persian cat often struggled during summer visits due to the lack of a cool, comfortable space. The reception area also felt a bit chaotic at times. Waiting time has been inconsistent—sometimes quick, but we’ve also had to wait for over an hour on occasion. I sincerely hope the clinic expands or renovates to include a spacious, air-conditioned waiting area for pets and pet parents. With better administration, the experience would match the doctor’s excellent care.

The professional medical support, for which he generates exorbitant bills, fails to even remotely justify. We reported a shoulder tumor for our 12 years old, fit and healthy Labrador retriever (Heaven). Dr Bharath was told by my wife and I, at least in two occasions that surgery was done earlier too at the same location. Yet, he ignored to register the same in the clinical notes. In fact, there were no clinical notes at all. He didn't share any details for the money charged either. Dr Bharath didn't consider any tests (FNA, CT Scan etc) and decided for the surgery straightaway. Despite knowing well the risks, he operated the tumor. During the shifting of the patient while still under anaesthesia, the paramedic in his clinic mishandled the patient and resulted in a spinal cord injury. Heaven developed knuckling in right hindleg immediately thereafter. The tumor grew back rapidly in two weeks. Despite repeated visits, he only generated more bills instead of recommending us to some specialist. Soon after, he was unavailable on long holiday and communication became an issue. We lost Heaven due to Fibrosarcoma spread through his internal organs. No calls were received till date from his clinic to know about the current status. We kept on requesting for Heaven's tumors histopathology report to no avail. It came to us one day before he passed away. The report didn't even mention the grade of the tumor and the margin used during the surgery. Everything was kept a secret as far as information was concerned. The only thing we were promptly informed was the bill. Bottom line: Dr Bharath failed as a doctor to choose the right line of treatment. Because of his callous attitude, we lost our companion for life far too early. The once playful child experienced an agonizing phase of life just because of wrong treatment. Dr Bharath is also very expensive against the quality of service that he provides. I strongly recommend everyone to be very careful before consulting him.

I am writing this review after months of reflection and immense suffering — not in haste or anger, but out of responsibility toward other pet parents. My dog was diagnosed with IBD and was under Dr Bharath’s care for several months. Dr Bharath is one of the most expensive veterinarians in the city, and we spent several lakhs of rupees on consultations, medications, investigations, and repeated visits. We did not hesitate to pay — because we trusted that we were paying for expertise, foresight, and holistic disease management. Unfortunately, what we experienced was largely reactive treatment rather than structured, long-term care. Key concerns from our journey: 1. Prolonged steroid therapy was continued without a clearly defined tapering plan or long-term exit strategy. 2. There was no parallel gut-healing or mucosal protection plan while steroids were being used long-term. 3. Essential gastroprotective medications like Sucralfate were not advised , despite clear signs of gastrointestinal irritation and ulceration. We had to figure it out on our own. 4. Each new symptom was addressed by adding another medication reactively, rather than reassessing the overall direction of treatment. 5. No proactive diagnostic reassessment was done to evaluate issues such as antibiotic resistance (e.g. Flagyl resistance) or disease progression. Upon changing the vet, we were advised to do a stool culture test first before deciding antibiotics. We were shocked to find out that our boy had developed resistance to Flagyl but every visit to this doctor, we were advised to give him Flagyl or he was injected with it along with several other antibiotics without a deeper investigation. 6. The case lacked holistic management of nutrition, gut integrity, and steroid-related complications. 7. Despite repeated visits, strict compliance, and unquestioning trust, Noel’s condition progressively deteriorated. Over time, he developed: severe muscle wasting, extreme protein loss (PLE), ulcerated and markedly thickened intestinal walls, recurrent bleeding, dehydration, and profound weakness. These outcomes did not occur due to neglect or lack of follow-up. They occurred despite consistent care, financial commitment, and reliance on professional judgement. Only after consulting senior specialists did we understand how earlier gut protection, structured tapering, and periodic re-evaluation of the treatment approach could potentially have prevented this level of decline. As a dog parent, I feel deeply let down. Chronic conditions like IBD require holistic, anticipatory, and adaptive management, not just high-cost prescriptions and symptom-by-symptom responses. Please seek second opinions early and ensure there is a clear long-term plan. I sincerely wish I had.
