We kept our cat here a couple of times while going outstation. This time we had a horrible experience. I generally provide all the food of different types as per our pets choice and requirement for the entire period of our absence. We got him back sick, distressed and most surprisingly with severe malnutrition and weight loss. Had to take him to hospital and put under external fluid injection. After weeks he is yet to fully recover. Simple negligence. I will never ever obtain their services again. It's a risk. @ Vijay, I am disappointed. Truly disappointed .

Additional review categories: gross negligence; causing distress to an animal; breach of trust; mismanagement; false advertising Our experience with Furry Tails can only be described as ongoing trauma. This review is based on our second (and last) experience with them. Furry Tails lost our dog, Jamun, a 7-month-old female puppy, on January 27, 2021, a day after she arrived there for post-surgery recovery. A caretaker informed us two hours after this happened. He took her for a walk within the property, which he was not supposed to, and said she jumped a wall and ran away. She underwent surgery just three days earlier and was still healing. He said that he followed her but stopped after she crossed a street. He was unable to explain why he did not continue to follow her and why he stopped after a brief attempt. He then assured us he would continue looking for her later that night and early next morning. It was concerning the way all this was unfolding but we were hopeful that she would be found soon. We promptly began sharing Jamun’s photo and details widely online; had posters put up in the area; went around the neighbourhood and nearby places asking local residents to call the numbers provided if they saw her. Meanwhile, we were in constant touch with the caretaker. In the initial days there was no word from the owner let alone an apology, from the owner, or any assurance that he would help us find our Jamun. We were told he was busy with other matters (!!). After several attempts to reach the owner we finally heard from him. He accepted, more than a week later, that it was Furry Tails’ fault that Jamun went missing. He assured us that he would make efforts to find her and that he had fired the caretaker because his mistake was unacceptable. Strangely, the caretaker was asked to remain on the job until the end of February 2021. We didn't ask for him to be fired, we just wanted them to form a search team to help us find Jamun ASAP. And yet, all this time our communication Furry Tails has primarily been with the caretaker. At one point, we were told, the owner instructed him to not help us anymore because it was our responsibility to find Jamun (so kind of him to remind us of our responsibility). It is abundantly clear that finding Jamun was never a priority for Furry Tails. Despite our repeated requests to the owner for a search team, we are aware of only a handful of inconsistent search attempts he has made, with a few people along. Furry Tails does not get a pat on their backs for what little they have done to try to rectify their enormous mistake. We are in this horrible situation because of them. Because of Furry Tails’ gross negligence and failure to act in a timely and effective manner, Jamun is in distress. We don’t need to list the dangers an animal faces on the streets, that too a child. This foster is not only mismanaged and under-staffed, it also suffers a lack of leadership. The owner has now told us to “coordinate” with the caretaker (the one who has been fired). We take this to mean that the owner wants to have nothing to do with this issue/Jamun/us, since the caretaker in question will be leaving Furry Tails soon anyway. Furry Tails not only failed to keep Jamun safe, betraying her trust and ours, they have also invalidated their own claims of providing a safe environment for animals by causing harm to even one. Furry Tails could have done A LOT and sooner to find Jamun but chose not to and now want to wash their hands of this. Take this review as a cautionary tale. Our efforts to find Jamun will continue.

One of the best place to keep your pets when you are going out, they keep all the babies like their own kids. Trustworthy and reliable foster.. My girl enjoyed a lot.

Mr Vijay the owner and this place is Horrible!!!!! Today I brought back my one year old dog from their boarding after 9 days and he is in horrible condition. Wounds everywhere, tick bites, bigger size ticks and my kid is totally weak, his bones are protruding. This horrible person and his so called caretakers have done something wrong to my dog and when I asked Vijay started arguing telling all lies. Now my doctor needs history to treat my dog but Vijay is arguing and changing statements one after another but not ready to disclose the truth. Pathetic person. Pet owners beware of this person!!!!!!! Never keep your dog or pet with him, they are animal abusers!!!!!!!

My babies (2 cats) have been under care with Mr. Vijay and Mr. Swapnil when me and my family were detected with COVID-19. I had contacted Mr. Vijay a few months back with the concern for my cats if at all me and my family get detected with COVID-19, and during these tough times where the world is struggling each day, Mr. Vijay is the only one who assured me that he would arrange pet care for my babies! ❤ I'd contacted some foster homes but none were ready to keep pets from COVID-19 families. For 20 days, my babies have been cared very well by Mr. Swapnil. They've felt like home at Furry Tails and have also become very attached to him as well. 😄 Thank you Mr. Vijay and Mr. Swapnil for taking proper care of my babies and ensuring that they feel at home. 🤗
