We are first time pet parents of a cute Golden Retriever 'Theo' and had no idea how to train it. We came across Rohan Sir through Instagram. Theo just finished his basic obedience training with him. He not only helped in training Theo but also provided tips and important information about nutrition and well being of puppy. He used majorly positive reinforcement for various commands and also used corrections whenever required. We were facing lot of issue in crate training but with Rohan Sir's approach and technique, we were successful in making Theo comfortable with crate. He stays calmly in crate whenever we have to go out for few hours. Theo is five months now but is quite comfortable in walking in public areas on leash. Theo is always very excited to see him and even recognizes his voice from audios. This clearly indicates positive association between them. Rohan Sir always provide valuable feedback on our training recordings. More than training the pet, it's about training the parent and Sir does this very diligently. We worked with Rohan over the last couple of months to address outdoor behaviour, loose leash walking, engagement, and overall confidence with our Labrador, Jugni. While Jugni was home-trained from a very early stage, our communication would completely break down the moment we stepped outside. That gap is where Rohan’s training made the most meaningful difference. Right at the outset, Rohan looked beyond surface behaviours and helped us optimise Jugni’s food and supplementation for better weight management, fitness, and energy levels. This foundational change had a noticeable impact on her stamina, focus, and overall performance during training. He also gave us clear, practical guidance on managing the home environment — from where treats and high-value items should be stored to how routines and access influence behaviour. These small adjustments made a surprisingly big difference. What stood out most was Rohan’s focus on absolute fundamentals instead of getting distracted by minor, irrelevant issues. Sessions were structured around core principles like engagement, clarity, timing, and consistency — which is exactly what was needed. Rohan is extremely professional in his approach. Sessions were conducted in fixed slots, he was always punctual, never cancelled, and came prepared with a clear plan for each session. Importantly, he focused on our specific objectives and tailored the training accordingly rather than pushing a generic program. A major part of the training was empowering the handler. Rohan spent significant time teaching us how to use different tools correctly — collars, leashes, long lines, treat placement, timing of rewards, cues, and even small handling details that have a disproportionate impact on outcomes. He also introduced multiple ways of reinforcing behaviours, which helped us move away from dependency on any single method. Over the course of the sessions, Jugni became noticeably more confident in outdoor environments, and just as importantly, so did I as a handler. We are now in a far better place in terms of communication, trust, and control outside the home. The lake swim session was a true show-stopper and a defining moment in the training journey. It unlocked Jugni’s natural confidence and drive in a way that was both unexpected and incredibly rewarding to witness. The presence of Roger during many of the sessions also added immense value — providing real-world exposure, neutrality work, and a benchmark for behaviour and engagement in distracting environments. Overall, Rohan’s training is thoughtful, experience-backed, and grounded in real-world application. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for structured, honest training that focuses on building a strong, confident dog-handler relationship rather than just surface-level obedience.
