Canine cohort came as a blessing to us. Our darling Neo is an indie and lab mix and when we started training with Tanya and Kastubh, Neo would pull at his leash on his walks so much that we could only walk him for a few minutes. With training, not only his walking but we were also able to reduce Neo's anxiety towards street dogs and strangers. I was always worried about where we would leave Neo if we had to travel but when Canine Cohort started their home boarding and training, I was relieved to say the least. Not only do they share pictures and videos of Neo whenever we are away, they make sure to get to know every little thing about your pet so they can give them the best experience. It is rarely that one finds trainers who work with you and emphasise on the importance of training the trainer(in this case let parents) to improve a dogs behaviour. Tanya and Kaustubh from the Canine Cohort did a wonderful job at this! My female indie dog, Waffles, had some problem behaviours like leash pulling, dog-to-dog reactivity, resource guarding etc. Tanya and Kautubh’s approach towards training waffles was very mindful, flexible yet consistent, hands on, responsive to my legs needs and encouraged me as a pet parent to continue training by equipping me with the necessary tools and commands needed to identify and correct problem behaviours. This is super important as it enables pet parents to take charge of training their pet which ensures long term success. Would definitely recommend the canine cohort for your pets behavioural needs!

Going to Tanya and Kaustubh, of The Canine Cohort, to train our puppy was definitely the best decision. From the very first meeting they made us and our puppy feel comfortable and we could trust them very easily. As first time pet owners we were very anxious, and they took their time to not just train our Tessa but also patiently teach and explain everything to us. Seeing the changes in Tessa and the way she responded to the training and teaching was definitely very fulfilling. They also have a doggy day care that we have sent Tessa to multiple times. They not just take in the dog they also train them. Everything is clean and completely dog friendly. The best part of all this is how much Tessa likes them. That in itself is a testament to their amazing approach to the dog.

We sought assistance from Tanya to address our dog's reactivity problem, particularly with leash pulling. Right from our initial session with Tanya and Kaustubh, we noticed a significant improvement in Waffles' behavior. Their hands-on approach and expertise were truly impressive. Over the course of more than 10 sessions, we've witnessed remarkable progress. Walking Waffles now feels incredibly peaceful. While occasional corrections are still needed, Waffles has come a long way in managing her reactions towards other dogs. We're immensely grateful to the team for their exceptional work

Kaustubh and Tanya have been amazing trainers. Our dog is fearful and has anxiety especially when it comes to going out even for daily walks. Through training our walks have become much better and she is more comfortable exploring. She has also become better around guests and strangers. We learnt and understood better about her behaviour and body language through them. They are so passionate about dogs and this is what makes them so good. Would highly recommend them.
