I had the best experience with my dog’s grooming as he is usually not comfortable with other people touching him, but Mrs Sneha and the groomers working for her really made him feel comfortable and handled him with utmost care. Now axl feels comfortable every time i take him to Fur N Tails

My first time getting my large breed dog groomed in Mumbai, and this salon was fantastic. They were patient with my skittish dog and she came out clean and smelling great. Five star service. They even helped me get a taxi home.

One of the best salons in town. I was extremely satisfied with the way Sneha takes care of my pet Lucky. She is really passionate and professional in her work. I would like all to atleast try her grooming once.

I visited this groomer a few years ago and had an excellent experience, but the service has declined since then. I’m not sure what has changed, whether it’s a lack of interest or something else, but the difference is noticeable. The high ratings on this page also feel questionable, as the claims of “top-notch care” and “international-level tools” are simply untrue. Basic hygiene is not maintained. The tools are unclean, there’s hair scattered everywhere, and the place has an unpleasant smell. And no, this is not how a pet grooming salon is supposed to smell. To make matters worse, the groomer seemed impatient. Care standards shouldn’t vary based on how busy they are or a pet’s temperament; patience is a fundamental part of the job. I was recently admitted to hospital, so I couldn’t brush my Persian cat’s coat or take him to a groomer. This led to small knots under his front legs. My cat is very used to grooming—he actually enjoys it. He loves baths, is extremely docile, and is always calm during grooming. The only things he dislikes, understandably, are being locked in a cage and having a blow dryer aimed directly at his face. I made sure to explain all of this to the groomer beforehand. Despite that, the groomer bathed him roughly. The bath itself was messy, and afterwards, even though I had specifically asked her not to, she put him in a cage and used the blow dryer at full force. This agitated him and frightened him so badly that he curled up in a corner. Once he was dried, instead of gently detangling the knots, she tugged at them harshly. When he started objecting, because he was being mishandled, she immediately took out a razor and shaved the knots, claiming it was the only option. What made the experience worse was how she tried to blame my cat, calling him “aggressive”, which couldn’t be further from the truth. Her rough handling is what caused him to react, yet she showed no apology, no empathy, and no attempt to be gentle afterwards. Only later did I realise why she rushed through everything, she simply wanted to finish quickly so she could move on to her next appointment. Speaking of appointments, getting one here is like winning a lottery. Even if you do manage to book a slot, there’s no guarantee you’ll actually receive the service. She cancels without notice, and you only find out when you reach the salon and see the shutters down or a helper tells you she isn’t available. There is absolutely no courtesy of informing clients beforehand. The only reason I went back to this groomer was because of my earlier experience at her previous facility, which was genuinely good. Unfortunately, this new facility, and the service, has completely changed.
