One of the oldest veterinary colleges in India. It is from the Britishers times.
Recently changed to Mumbai Veterinary College previously it was Bombay Veterinary College. First Veterinary College established in Maharashtra State. Visited during college trip. The campus of the college is very good and full of trees. The boys Hostel,Girls hostel, College classrooms , clinical department, playground , college canteen etc in one place. Lit bit hard to reach over here as the roads are short and narrow somewhere. Important departments like Surgery, medicine and gynaecology are in the OPD section in the same college campus which is good thing for the students for there clinical practice.
