I am extremely disappointed with the services of this hospital. My cat was admitted here for treatment, but due to their negligence and lack of proper care, she passed away. Despite repeated requests for updates, the communication was poor and I did not feel my pet was being monitored carefully. The doctors and staff seemed careless and unresponsive to my concerns. Instead of providing comfort and professional treatment, they failed to give the timely and attentive care that could have saved her life. Losing a pet is heartbreaking, but losing her because of negligence is devastating. I trusted this hospital with my cat’s life, and they let me down completely. I do not recommend this place to anyone who truly loves their pets.
This hospital doesn't even deserve one star. If there were a rating lower than one, this hospital deserves it. My cat passed away due to an extreme delays in care. Their lunch break is from 1:30 to 2:00 PM, and when I arrived at 3:15 PM, they were still on lunch break, even though my cat's condition was critical. They told me to pay the 500 fee at the counter first, and then I had to stand in line for hours. By the time my number was called, my cat was struggling to breathe, and he died as a result of their lack of attention and delay in treating an emergency. If you love your pet, please do not visit this hospital. I will never return here again. I saw many negative reviews beforehand but chose to ignore them, which I now deeply regret. This is a mistake I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
This hospital does not deserve even a single star We had our cat admitted at this Hospital for around 13–14 days. She had severe dental issues, and the doctors suggested surgery. However, due to low creatinine levels, they said the surgery could not be performed.Despite this, one doctor removed one of her teeth without giving anaesthesia, which caused active bleeding. If surgery was not possible, she should have been discharged the same day. Instead, they kept her admitted. The next day, when we went to see her, we were suddenly told to take her home, saying she would be fine at home. We were completely shocked at how casually the discharge was done. After bringing her home, her condition started deteriorating rapidly. For the next 5 days she did not eat anything, her gums changed color, her mouth became swollen, and she was clearly in pain. Before all this, she was active, walking around, eating properly, and responding when we called her by name. She was stable before admission for surgery. We don’t know what injection or treatment was given, but from that night onwards and especially the next day, her condition kept worsening.Sadly, she passed away today. This has been extremely traumatic for us. We trusted the hospital with our pet, but the lack of proper communication, questionable treatment decisions, and sudden discharge have left us heartbroken. We expected better care and accountability from a government animal hospital what we went through here is something no pet parent should ever experience
Cremation services are too convenient, easy and humane. Staff posted at the Crematorium are extremely helpful. I will remain thankful to the team for their support, assistance and cooperation. Special thanks to Dr Kiran Deshmukh for his care, affection and treatment for my beloved Dexter (Dog, Male, 15 years) (2010-2025). RIP
This animal hospital was constructed on the land donated by late Jamshedaji Tata. The building has terminus construed as dates back as 1888 and thus it carries a legacy of around 150 yrs. The OPD is run by the government and administration and admission is private. The faculty are experienced but the care is just like a typical government run hospitals across the country. The general ward has 4 to 5 tables (in the open) to handle and care the animals which doesn't require admission or for patients who can't afford. Rest they have private wards with Ac rooms and some have even attached bath , incase your pet requires a longer and critical care. One can see Feline , Canine , Bovine and all such animals and even Eagles and Hawks undergoing treatment.
