I’m so grateful to have found such a kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate vet for my pet. Dr. Sunetra always takes the time to explain everything clearly and treats my pet with such genuine care. It’s a relief to know we’re in such good hands. Highly recommended!

I am writing this review about a stray cat named “Leopard” who eventually became our family member. Request you to please read it till end, as it may be helpful to any pet parent. Leopard met with an accident and was missing for a week’s period. Later we found him & we noticed that he had a fracture at shoulder of right forelimb. Doctors told us that leg needs to be operated by inserting rod in his leg, so we got him operated by Dr. Sunetra. The surgery went well, but three days after surgery, Leopard's operated leg started swelling, we informed Dr. Sunetra but she told us it is the swelling due to surgery and it will subside downwards. But that swelling was due to infection and it lead to pus formation. Next day the swelling increased and in the evening pus started oozing out, seeing this we called up Dr. Sunetra & rushed to her with our Leopard. Dr. told us to keep flushing the wound twice a day with betadine. After 2-3 days of this treatment, the skin around the infected area went dead and we had a clear sight of his wound with operated area, where we could see his bone from two points because healing was not completed & the stitches were opened. We even asked Dr. Sunetra the doubt in our mind that this infection will not spread in his operated leg & internal body, to which she responded, it would not. Eventually his external pain reduced but he had internal pain, which we failed to understand. He could not tolerate the pain and stopped eating and got fever exactly on 8th day from operation. We informed this situation of Leopard at every visit to Dr. Sunetra, but she recommended to force feed our Leopard. Later on our Leopard left with no energy to walk on his own and lift his neck, he even started heavy breathing. After informing this situation to Dr. Sunetra, she then advised us to put saline for his recovery but nowhere had she conveyed that Leopard’s health is deteriorating & he needs hospitalization. At this time, she was going out of town & was not available for 4-5 days. Since, Dr. Sunetra was not available, we went to other Vet doctor who knew Leopard's medical history. This doctor told us to continue saline treatment twice a day for at least 4-5 days. Here the blood test was also done to examine the condition of our Leopard, where the report came with alarming & critical output depicting WBC increased & Platelets dropped to severe condition. Even this doctor also not recommended that our Leopard require hospitalization. This was the 11th day after operation. The 12th day story (i.e. 1st July 23) of our Leopard was worst. The morning session of his saline was completed & even this second doctor went out of town for 3-4 days without recommending hospitalization. By evening, somewhere from 4:30pm, the heavy breathing became worse & we could not see his pain. We started calling Dr. Sunetra, but her phone was not reachable, so we text her on WhatsApp along with Leopard’s blood report. Since no response from doctor, with Leopard, we rushed to a Vet hospital, where he was admitted with a note by the doctors, like heavy breathing & drop in body temperature, which was very critical condition. He was kept in ICU incubator with oxygen supply to ease his breathe & improve his body temperature. The hospital doctors even told us that there are chances that the infection might have spread into blood. Unfortunately battling with pain & breathing problem our Leopard passed away on the same day around 11 pm. There are certain questions for Dr. Sunetra; # Why you haven't included any medicine for infection post-surgery? # Why you did not advised us prior to start saline, when we informed you that Leopard lost his appetite? # Why you did not look closely if the infection was spreading in the body? If you think it wasn't then why did he lost his appetite, had weakness, got fever, started heavy breathing? # Why you took everything so lightly and casually in his case? Was it because it was a stray cat? The doctor’s entire focus was on the operated area and the wound & the rest health parameters were ignored completely.

⭐ If I could give NEGATIVE stars, I would. What a “wonderful” experience it was to lose my cat within 24 hours of visiting this so-called doctor. My poor cat was so sick, and instead of honesty or care, all I got was a handful of medicines worth ₹5000 and a cheerful instruction to “come daily for fluids.” Of course, no mention that my cat’s condition was critical because why tell the truth when there’s money to be made? 💔 It’s heartbreaking and infuriating that someone who claims to heal animals can be so careless and insensitive. My pet deserved compassion, not a business transaction. Please, don’t make the mistake I did. Keep your pets far away from this clinic they deserve real care, not fake promises wrapped in medical coats.

Doctor Sunetra is very kind, a good listener and great at diagnosis. She has helped our 10 bunnies (Rabbits) so many times in the last 2 years. We got all 10 bunnies spayed and neutered and treated for various ailments. Doctor Sunetra has been providing guidance which helped us care for our bunnies properly. The way she handles our bunnies and cares for them has been a great relief for us. That's a relief for any pet parent. If you have a pet/pets, she's the doc!

I wish I had taken my one pet whom I lost because of her medical negligence to another doctor. He would've still been healthy and alive. My dog whom I lost was diagnosed with stones in his bladder, she conducted the operation which went longer than she had told us. After getting him from her clinic, he stopped eating and through the stitches, his pee used to leak. He had become so weak, couldn't stand, wouldn't eat. She then suggested me for IV treatment and was out of town herself and prescribed another doctor's clinic. The IV treatment he gave made everything worse! That doctor didn't even touch my baby, he asked his compounders to give the treatment and the very next day I lost my baby! It was so heartbreaking to see him in pain when she promised that we would be fine! How is it even possible for someone to lose their lives after a bladder operation? I have another dog. His HB count dropped down so badly and everyday I used to take my dog to her clinic! She just used to prescribe more and more medicine without even trying to find the cause why the Hb was dropping down and despite informing her about how the condition has terribly deteriorated, she just asked us to come everyday and kept giving some injections! By god's grace, we decided to not go back to her for any further treatment and switched our doctor to Dr. Pradnya Pethe! Today I regret if I had taken my other pet to Dr. Pradnya, had he been healthy and alive. The reviews say "this doc is just a money making Machine" and to some extent I think that's true. Not here to ruin someone's name but pet deserves all the love and care and not just someone who's more interested in making money.
