Have been going to Dr.Deepa for years now. She is a vet that doesn't just know her stuff well but loves animals with all her heart and does what is truly best for them. Most recently she treated my cat who had hypokalemia with effective medication and acupuncture. She is okay now in a matter or 4 days.

We brought Ginger, a stray cat, to Deepa’s Clinic in late May after he lost weight and was attacked by another cat. Other vets, including a multi-specialty hospital, said his condition was severe and he wouldn't survive more than a couple of days. Under Dr. Trisha D’souza's care, Ginger was systematically diagnosed for weight loss due to high creatinine, treated for wounds, and corrected an abscess from a previous vet's IV. After weeks of testing by Dr. Trisha, Dr. Deepa, and Dr. Aditya, Ginger made a remarkable recovery. He went from 1.94 kgs to a healthy 5.3 kgs. Dr. Deepa’s Clinic follows modern practices, has a great facility, and a compassionate staff. They not only care for pets but also show empathy towards pet parents. Took my cat to Dr. Deepa’s clinic for gastro issues. She wasn’t diagnosed properly and the staff at the hospital were not able to handle her as well. The diagnosis was wrong and it was extremely difficult to connect with the doctor treating her. I literally had to cry and beg for her them to send me her prescription so that i could start the medicines. Even after that, wrong dosage of the medicine was prescribed. After 15 days of trial and error with the doctor unable to assess what the actual cause was suggested giving her steroids. That was the final straw, after which I took her to another vet who in a second was able to identify her symptoms as possibly due to Giardia and started correct medications immediately. This was later confirmed by her test results as well. Hence, I essentially wasted 15-20 days and trusted the name of Dr. Deepa, since it was highly recommended. Never taking my cat back there again. This review is just to help people decide and make the right choice for their pets as being a pet parent myself, i find it very difficult to find a right doctor for my baby.

My beautiful, playful 3 year old kitty Koko suffered from a severe spinal injury unbeknownst to me with her symptoms showing up in the beginning of May. It had caused her to become paralyzed in her hind legs and she was as a result unable to use her litterbox or walk. She was unable to apply pressure of any kind using her lower half due to disk compression/herniation as diagnosed by the vets at Tata Trust small animal hospital. I was told that she may never walk again and that I should consider putting her down due to concerns regarding her quality of life with her being unable to poop or pee on her own. I was heart broken for my little girl and felt defeated. A day later I found out about Dr. Deepa Katyal's clinic and wasted no time in starting her treatment there. Dr. Deepa and her expert staff handled our case with so much love, care and dedication which helped Koko regain the strength in her legs within a week. After a month of daily treatments consisting of phototherapy and electroacupuncture Koko feels brand new and is back to being her usual energetic and mischievous self. I feel such relief as I watch her chase her little brother around the house and use the litterbox all on her own with ease just like she used to. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Deepa Katyal and her incredible staff for helping my Koko recover so miraculously and their selfless commitment to the cause of animal pain management. Needless to say Dr. Deepa Katyal's clinic is my go to for addressing any concerns regarding both of my cats.
