I recently visited the Small Animal Hospital of Tata Trust with my 15-year-old dog for an FNAC procedure. I must say, this hospital is an excellent facility, especially for cats and dogs. The doctors and staff are highly cooperative, professional, and caring, making the entire process smooth and comfortable. The hospital maintains extremely high standards of cleanliness, ensuring a hygienic and pleasant environment for both pets and their owners. Another great advantage is that all investigation facilities are available in-house, making it a one-stop solution for pet healthcare needs. However, while the quality of care is exceptional, the cost of services is on the higher side. But given the top-notch facilities and expertise, it is worth it for those seeking the best medical care for their pets. Overall, I highly recommend Small Animal Hospital, Tata Trust to pet owners looking for advanced veterinary care in a clean and well-equipped facility.
I would like to share my experience with hospital, firstly this hospital is a pet hospital, not at all for stray animals. Yesterday I came across a 1 month puppy on roadside near rey road station, he was unable to walk as his one bone above rear right leg was dislocated/fractured. I took him to tata where they examined it and on request x-ray was also done without charging any money. But after examining the x-ray, they gave me an estimate of Rs. 66000/- for surgery. I am not in position of spending so much money. If TATA's start charging so much money for a stray puppy, please tell me who is going to help these stray animals. I thought if take a stray dog to them, they will take care of him. But unfortunately I had to take this puppy with me and now I am asking for help to organisations related to help animals. Still haven't found one.
It was a surreal evening, I was out of the blue discussing with my son the Ratan Tata trust hospital for small animals, and was praising even without having a first hand experience of the facility just because we had spent a cool 14 years with Mr Tata’s company and always felt like family. Had met him only once ! Next morning heard the news of his demise 😢 Our 11 years young 🤗 pet Toto is really fortunate to be one of many pets who are enjoying good health through SAH. Recently a surgery was performed on Toto by the very capable doctors of SAH. And were showered with so much love as a pet parent and much more on our pet, you start feeling it’s your maika 😀 And this extra love and understanding along with the best facilities and expertise is making SAH a boon for Mumbaikars.Thank you SAH ! Thank you Mr Tata ! Zindagi ke saath bhi, zindagi ke baad bhi 🙏❤️
Excellent service even in emergency situations, in the middle of the night everyone performs with full integrity. True to its brand name, best pet hospital I have ever been to in Mumbai. The entire staff right from the security - to the receptionist - to the house keeping - to the assistants - to the doctors everyone is so gracious & helpful. No hidden agendas, loved their honesty. Thank you so much for the most satisfactory service Tata.
We would like to share our experience at Tata Small Animal Hospital, which has been a mix of appreciation and concern. During our first visit, we were extremely satisfied with the services provided. The hospital environment, staff coordination, and overall approach towards small animals were professional, caring, and reassuring. Our experience was pleasant and very helpful, which is why we trusted the hospital for a follow-up consultation as well. However, during our second visit, we felt somewhat misguided. We consulted Dr. Aishwarya Ramesh and clearly explained the reason for our visit along with our concerns, especially regarding our pet’s ongoing issue of not eating food. While she prescribed certain food and medicines, we were surprised when she advised us to visit her private clinic for the next consultation. Unfortunately, the private clinic did not meet basic hygiene standards, which made us uncomfortable and raised concerns about continuity of care. As pet parents, we rely on reputed institutions like Tata Small Animal Hospital for transparent, ethical, and consistent guidance. We have spent nearly ₹8,000 across two visits, yet our pet’s core issue remains unresolved. This leaves us worried about whether future visits to Tata Small Animal Hospital will ensure proper consultation and whether we might again be directed outside the hospital system. We genuinely respect Tata Small Animal Hospital and hope our feedback is taken constructively. We would appreciate clarity on how patient care continuity is ensured and reassurance that consultations remain within the hospital framework for proper guidance and trust.
