Dog Shop India – Irresponsible & Unreliable Service On 14th August, I spoke with Isha from Dog Shop India regarding a 5-day boarding stay for my Persian cat. I clearly explained that I had an early morning flight on 15th August at 10:00 AM, and would be dropping my cat at their Goregaon branch at 9:00 AM sharp before heading to the airport. This timing was discussed and agreed upon in advance. On the day of my travel, I took the trouble of driving all the way from Santacruz to Goregaon with my pet, ensuring I was punctual. Upon reaching exactly at 9:00 AM, I found the shop shut. I immediately called both their shop number and Isha’s personal number, which she had given me specifically for emergencies. Shockingly, no one picked up either call. I repeatedly tried but got no response. This left me extremely anxious and stressed — I was already pressed for time to catch my flight, and now I had no idea what to do with my pet. I was deeply frustrated and upset by this irresponsible behaviour from a service that claims to care for animals. Only later did I get a casual excuse that their phone was “on silent”. For a pet care service, this is absolutely unacceptable. Emergencies can happen at any time, and if the staff cannot even answer their phones at an agreed drop-off time, how can they be trusted to look after pets responsibly? I am genuinely relieved that I did not leave my cat with them — because if they can be this careless with communication and basic commitments, I dread to think how they would handle an animal’s needs or emergencies. My advice: Do not trust them with your pets. Their lack of professionalism and accountability makes them completely unfit for providing safe and reliable .

I had an amazing experience with Dogshopindia. I received regular video updates of my cat, which gave me so much peace of mind. Proper care was taken at all times. The place is extremely clean and well-maintained, with toys, a litter box, and a cat tree house to keep the pets comfortable and engaged. There is always someone present to look after the pets, and food is given properly and on time. I met Isha for the first time, and she is genuinely one of the kindest and most responsible people I’ve ever met. Her love and care for animals truly reflect in the way she manages everything.
