As per the pet care standards available in India, this hospital is very good. Waiting time to get the consultation, investigation and treatment is a little long and one has to be really patient. Being a teaching hospital and possible staff shortage and workload might be the possible cause. This should be taken as a tertiary care centre and not as a primary care centre for pets.
GADVASU is cheap. I won't say it's best but they have ample doctors to diagnose the problem your pet is having or might have in future. The care which should be provided to the pet is non existent which I believe most of the vets are the same. The situation at the Hospital is about the same when you visit a hospital l. Doctors tell what the problem is and interns or third year students tend to your pet. I understand they also need to get hands on experience but they don't have enough resident doctors who could oversee the amount of interns and third years. Hence the medical ward of the small clinic suffers tremendously. The poke needles so badly just to get the right vein. This is the situation of government run Vet hospital. I got my pet treated from a private Vet and from Government Institution. The only difference I found was 1week of private Vet expense is equal to the expense of the whole treatment for more than a month. Rest is the same. Please be vigilant regarding your pet. If you see something out of ordinary please get consultation ASAP
My dog was unwell, and we were referred to GADVASU. Thanks to the doctor and her team. She is doing much better today.
This veterinary hospital is really good. Veterinary doctors attends you very attentively. Clean environment despite of pets here. Washroom was a bit mess.
Student & doctor are very cooperative Stretcher facility available at entrance & also inside hospital Well trained doctor & interns As compared to other govt hospital all facilities like xray & ultrasound at very nominal rate
