Hotel The Leaf Lucknow

We recently celebrated our engagement here, and everything is simply perfect ! The decoration,food and service were beyond expectations. The staff was so supportive and made sure every details of taken care of. A big thank you for making our day special.

We booked the hotel for 2 nights, however, stayed hardly for 4 hours. The rooms were dirty, the furnitures are old and never cleaned. Even the service wasn’t good, we had late checkin, still when we arrived it took the staff half an hour to get fixed everything. Only the food was nice.

I have only given positive reviews through my google account, but it’s the first time I’ve ever experienced this kind of hotel management and scam regarding booking..!! So, kindly be alert about your booking at this hotel. It's not even worthy of giving one star. On 4th of December we made a reservation here for a night through their so called “Official website”, mentioned as “stayflexi”which costed us Rs. 4,000. While checking in, the receptionist denied our stay reasoning we didn’t call them before booking and said there was no room available. [ Ab bolo kon Cl karta hain before booking?! ] And We are frequent travellers. we have not encountered shitty people like this ever before. He was like [aapne Jaha se book kiya hain unlogo ke Sath tie up nahi hain] ,ok if they dont have any tie up with their own official website then why didn’t they remove it from the site. Anyways that was their personal issue why would we care about their personal issues because we were their guest so we were patiently waiting them to sort out the problem however ,instead of resolving the situation they openly denied refunding our money on our face, as well as didn’t provide any accommodation from their end. Even though it was completely their responsibility still they didn’t show any concern or empathy towards us. Honestly speaking they were behaving like nothing happened . After a long conversation as we were new to that city ,we were trying our level best to get our money back , we mailed ,we called over n over to that site but no response nothing. After all that shit ,receptionist asked us to check their twin bed room. We thought at least they are trying to make it up for us but no, they were asking us to see the room once and pay them Rs. 2,700 after discount Again. Then we checked the room which was fully filthy like a public toilet, and was filled with used protection all around. We refused and shook after seeing their inhuman behaviour. But here is the thing if they didn’t have rooms available then where did this room suddenly appear from nowhere , also how did he get the privilege to ask us to pay them again even after scamming our Rs. 4,000. Afterwards we asked them to provide a valid contact details as the number was given in that site wasn’t responding our calls then he gave us a number who is currently not working with them , it’s like they were pretending that they are honest then we requested them to take the responsibility and refund our money. Afterwhich he told us to do the same thing which we did already at that moment like mailing , calling n all .Then we opted for another hotel because we had no energy to argue with them . Since then we have been calling and texting them about the refund till date. Also We have all the information, payment details , call recording with the Manager Named Siddharth that how rudely and lightly they can fool customers. After observing all these days, we got to know that they have recently changed their so called official site’ address to scam people on their hard earned money. We asked them politely to pay our money back from their end but they don’t even revert to ours texts and whenever we call they don’t pick our calls up. I’ve attached all the proofs of booking, and those chats here so that Everyone can see And avoid booking their stay at this hotel. They don’t even deserve a single star hotel, at least now we know why it is low quality hotel as compared to other hotels in Lucknow. And yea, hotels like this are seriously annoyingly TERRIBLE for travellers…!!

I recently booked Hotel Leaf to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and I am not satisfied with the overall experience. The hotel may be value for money for a simple stay, but I would not recommend it for events. We gave the complete decoration and event responsibility to the hotel, but they messed it up. The banquet hall was not ready until the last moment, and important things like the front gate lighting were fixed only after I personally intervened. This caused a lot of unnecessary stress on an important day. Another major drawback is the lack of a lift on the ground floor, which is essential for any banquet hall, especially for guests with seniors or children. The large gathering hall is in the basement, which makes the setup feel compromised and inconvenient. The only good part was the polite behaviour of the staff. However, the management did not seem professional, and the event handling was far below expectations. Overall, I do not recommend Hotel Leaf for events. There is a lot of improvement needed in management, facilities, and event coordination

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I had originally booked this hotel for two days, but we checked out after just one night because the stay was completely unpleasant. What makes it more disappointing is that I had stayed at this same hotel around two years ago and was genuinely impressed back then by the cleanliness and overall experience. However, during my recent stay a few days ago, the condition of the hotel had drastically deteriorated. The reception area was just okay, but the real problem started when we entered the room. The room was extremely dirty. The wardrobes were falling apart, the furniture looked very old and poorly maintained, and the walls had visible water stains and dirt, as if there had been leakages or spills that were never cleaned properly. The sofa seats were so unclean that I felt uncomfortable even sitting on them. The bedsheets were another major issue. They had visible stains on them. I requested the hospitality team to replace them, but even the “fresh” bedsheets they provided were stained. Eventually, I had no option but to sleep on top of the quilt, which itself wasn’t ideal. The charging sockets in the room were mostly broken—only one or two were working—which added to the discomfort. The bathroom was in a terrible state as well. The commode was very dirty, and the overall bathroom environment was extremely unpleasant and unhygienic. Things got even worse at night. When my friend and I returned to the hotel after roaming around Lucknow, we witnessed drunk guests fighting with the receptionist in the lobby. The entire scene was chaotic and messy, and it was clear that the hotel was entertaining the wrong kind of crowd. This completely changed our decision to continue staying there. Because of all this, we decided to check out the next morning instead of staying for the second day and went to stay at our friend’s place. What shocked me further was that during checkout, the receptionist didn't even asked us why we were checking out early—showing a complete lack of concern or awareness about the hotel’s condition. Overall, this hotel feels neglected, poorly maintained, and unmanaged. The hygiene, maintenance, and guest experience are seriously compromised. If Google allowed negative stars, I would have definitely given them.
