This pet shop has everything you could need if you’re a pet owner. They stock a wide range of pet food, accessories, toys, medicines, and other essentials. It’s well-organized and easy to find what you’re looking for. They also offer grooming services, which I personally tried for my pet and I was really happy with how it turned out. The staff were friendly, handled my pet gently, and did a neat job. Overall, it’s a reliable spot for both shopping and grooming. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a good pet store with quality service.
Was in Calicut wanted a prescribed diet supplement for my dog on an emergency - e commerce was 4 days to deliver. I called Happy pets shop, they did not have it. Owner said can get it from Palakkad, 4 hours away. It was almost 3,000 rs offered advance but he said don’t need it will take after delivery. He didn’t get transport so calls someone he knows in Palakkad, sends it to bus stand through his contact, sends it via bus courier next day I get it. I asked for payment, he is like “usually I give like 15% discount but this time I have transport charges so is it okay if I take MRP?”. I insisted he take MRP plus transport, he refused to take it and just took MRP. What an amazing person what great service. Thank you for your efforts and kindness.
I had a very bad experience with Happy Pets Grooming Centre, Kakkodi. I took my small Indian Spitz for grooming, but the staff seemed afraid to even take the dog out properly and clearly did not know how to handle dogs which were afraid and a bit aggressive. They also didn’t know how to brush the dog’s teeth, which is a basic part of professional grooming. Basic hygiene of using masks and gloves were not even followed. Overall, their handling and confidence were extremely poor. I chose this place only because their centre in Kakkodi is nearby. However, convenience alone does not make up for the lack of skill. I have been grooming my dog every month at Petazone and Roms n Raks, and I have never faced any such issues there. The difference in professionalism and experience is very clear. I would not recommend Happy Pets Grooming Centre to anyone who cares about proper and safe grooming for their pets.
