14.10.2025. I don’t even know where to start. I had heard so much about Aura Specialty Clinic and Dr. Ramesh, and I trusted that my pet would be in good hands. But that trust cost me her life. On his advice, we took her to the Pookode hospital and that’s where everything started to go wrong. They gave her multiple steroids. Soon after, she started bleeding internally. She suffered, and I had to watch her slip away helplessly. It breaks me to even write this, but I need others to know the truth. I used to think this clinic cared about animals, but now it just feels money minded and careless. They act confident, but they don’t seem to truly understand or care about the pain their mistakes cause. My baby is gone, and nothing will bring her back. I want to clarify a few important points, because your response contains details that don’t match what happened with us. We did not come after “a couple of days of treatment.” My dad brought my pet to Aura after a consultation at another private clinic, because we were told Aura could help. You may verify this with My Pets Hospital. I never questioned your diagnosis. As I wrote in my review, after examination you referred us to Pookode Veterinary College, and I clearly mentioned that the problems started after that referral and treatment. We were never informed how aggressive the treatment would be. When we came back to you after Pookode, you did not explain to us that she was on heavy steroid treatment or what the risks/side effects could be. We trusted the system and did not double check, and we regret that deeply. We reported constant bleeding and it was dismissed. If you check your records, we came twice informing that she was bleeding almost continuously. Both times, we were told it was due to a syrup we were giving and we were given a “gut health” drink. There was no urgency shown for the bleeding, no escalation, and no warning about how serious this could become. She did not pass away because her eye condition worsened. A few days before she died, we consulted another clinic and only then we realised it was already too late. We were informed how strong the steroid tablets were and that she likely suffered internal bleeding and severe gastric damage. She did not die because her eye got bad. She suffered and died because of the medications and because the bleeding was not taken seriously when we repeatedly reported it. I understand referrals are sometimes necessary. But referral does not remove responsibility for proper communication, warnings, and appropriate response when severe symptoms like bleeding are reported. Gucci is no more, and nothing will bring her back. But I will speak up so that other pet parents ask the right questions and don’t go through the same pain.

I had taken my Indie dog for spaying here. The surgery went well and my dog recovered smoothly. The renovation is in progress and looks like it's soon going to be a full-fledged clinic. The clinic is easily accessible as well, since it's right across the street. Overall a positive experience, highly recommended place.
