Rain forest is in a very baf condition with no maintenance. Rooms are in pathetic condition no painting on walls, no mirrors, tv not working, no wifi.

Beautiful resort very green by the river and has a pool. It looks exceptional after rain, and it’s very calming to walk around amidst the sound of birds. The rooms are spacious and has all the amenities. I love the architecture which blinks in very well with the overall theme of the resort.

It was a totally disappointing experience for me. I had been to this resort in 2017 and it was very good at that time and i had such high expecations during this visit. But the property looks like its not at all taken care off. The room was totally disappointing, when we removed the blanket over the bed we could see mould or dirt on the bed sheet and blanket and the bed was smelly too. As they say it is a 4 star hotel this is not at all acceptable. The mould on the bed shows how careless the staff is towards the guest. I booked one of their cottage for a Day and checked in around 1.30 but after spending some time i had to checkout as we began to feel sick( sneezing and cold) as we both were allergic to dust. The bathroom was pathetic. The bath tub looked like it wasnt cleaned for ages and the toilet seat looked yellow in colour. I had to pay a total of 7676 Rupees in total which include the food we had. It was totally a waste of time and money.

This resort has clearly passed its prime. While the rooms are big and spacious, the condition they are in is extremely disappointing. The room was full of dust, there were cockroaches, and both the bed and bed linen were stained. There was no hot water in the bathroom, and the toilet was unhygienic, foul-smelling, and filled with mosquitoes. Even the towels were not fresh and had a noticeable smell and dust on them. All of this reflects a serious lack of care and maintenance. It feels like the actual owners may not even be aware of the current state of the property. Interestingly, the lobby still displays beautiful antiques and classy showpieces, which shows the kind of pride and commitment the owners once had. The current 4.1 rating might be from a time when the resort was well-maintained and offered good service. Unfortunately, my experience was far from that. I was traveling with seniors and kids, and this stay turned out to be extremely unpleasant. Nothing could have gone worse. I’m genuinely sorry to say this, but I cannot recommend this resort in its present condition.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely disappointing first impression. Poor access and worse attitude. Visited The Rainforest today with my 8-year-old son after seeing positive Google reviews, photos, and videos. I was genuinely considering this place for hosting my company’s anniversary celebration, so this visit was meant to be a walkthrough to check the property and overall vibe. What we encountered instead was shockingly bad. The property has a large main gate (clearly suitable for vehicles) and a tiny, steep pedestrian-style opening next to it. I was on a Royal Enfield with my child seated behind me. The narrow entrance was risky and unsafe due to the steep incline and lack of space. I politely asked the security guard to open the main gate, which was not locked, just closed. He flatly refused. No explanation. No empathy. No concern for safety. Just “all bikers go this way” and an outright refusal to help. Worse, he claimed he didn’t know anything about the property itself. If your security doesn’t know whether there’s even an eatery or guest access inside, that’s already a red flag. I then called the contact number listed on Google Maps. The response was equally careless. A casual “I know, I’ll inform” with zero urgency, no attempt to speak to the security, no effort to resolve the situation. When I said we were leaving and canceling our plan, there was… nothing. No concern. No follow-up. First impressions matter. If this is how potential guests and event planners are treated at the gate, I can’t imagine how actual guests would be handled during an event. This experience completely killed our excitement and confidence in the place. If you’re planning a visit, a walkthrough, or an event here, go at your own risk. A resort is not just about scenery; it’s about hospitality. And this place failed at the very first step.
