The Windsor Castle Leisure Hotel & Ayurvedic Resort

Pathetic service. Never expected it to be this bad when it comes to a hotel like this! Not even a wifi in a cottage ? A/C doesnt work if we change the temp.. Food was also bad..no calls attended when we call to complain. and with no services provided we pay a very huge amount. Very nice. Forgot to mention the attitude of the staff both on front and restaurant was very poor. Update: The A/C was working only on the lowest when i tried to change the temp it stopped working. When i tried to decrease the fan volume it stopped working. And with no wifi in such a place named Windsor Castle we atleast asked for a discount in the food offered which was very bad as well. I ordered chicken sandwich and i dint get to have a single chicken inside it was full of onions and i couldn’t even ate it. They even declined that. They never attend calls and the staff there just come and fight with us saying that they never got any call. The attitude of the staff was like they are the king where we are someone who asking help like beggers. When we were there the other man who was standing beside was also complaining about a lot of things like I did.

The place is an absolute gem. Well appointed rooms, a nice restaurant and a bunch of surprises behind the main hotel building. A lush green estate with swimming pools, ponds, and a waterway where you can go on a boat ride awaits you along with a lot of other activities, some complimentary and some chargeable. You can go on a coral ride in the water or cycle around the property for free, but the motor boat ride I think, is chargeable. They also have day packages where you can spend the entire day with family/friends. Had a memorable stay.

I did 3 of my wedding events at Windsor castle Royal Gallery Hall, Naalukettu and Convention Center. While the venues itself were beautiful and the waterbody in the property adds to the charm of the whole place, the rooms were not up to the standards of a 4-star hotel. The rooms were old and mouldy and doesn’t reflect 4-star hotel standards. With regards to the venues, we really loved the naalukeetu for the wedding and it really elevated our wedding event. The Windsor castle convention Center holds up to 1000 pax and is good for holding receptions. Having said all that the interactions with the Windsor castle management were not that great and they really need to improve on their service. I understand it’s a business but the way with which the management handles it is not that great and wouldn’t recommend the management for any events(unless you really like the property and the management staff improves their attitude towards customers). Their attitude seemed like we were not the customers , they were. Businesses should be run fairly and cutting random costs out of deposits of vendors is not really fair after all the events we did with them. It’s not about the money but rather about fair practices and having ethics while running a hotel. Edit - This is the response to your reply. I didn’t know that deducting “2000 Rs for removing 80 chairs from the premises” counted as your policy. Something that could have totally been done by the caterers or us had it been informed to us. Again it’s not about the amount of money but rather about ethical practices.
