Kennel Mart Pet store and Pet Grooming Parlour

I’m deeply heartbroken to write this, but people need to know. RIP kukki. I trusted this grooming center with my healthy, happy Persian cat for a routine grooming session and it turned into a nightmare. Within just an hour of handing her over at 10AM, I got a call saying she had suddenly “fallen sick.” By 3 PM, she was dead. This wasn’t a tragic accident; it was neglect, cruelty, and gross unprofessionalism. No medical history, no signs of illness before, just a healthy cat in the morning and a lifeless body by afternoon. According to the vet the cause of death was water & shampoo entering her lungs ( pulmoedema)And no proper explanation or accountability from the owner These people are not groomers, they are irresponsible and dangerous. What happened to kuki should never happen to another pet. This place is not safe for animals, and they must be held accountable. Please, if you love your pets, stay away from this center. My heart is shattered. I hope no one else has to go through this kind of pain.

Both the grooming staff members were very loving with my cat, which made the grooming process easy and stress-free. They also did an excellent job on the grooming itself!

I absolutely love this pet grooming center! The staff are super friendly, gentle, and patient with pets. My dog always comes back looking fresh, clean, and happy. They really care about the animals and make sure every grooming session is stress-free. The place is clean, well-organized, and smells great. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my furry friend! I took my Shih Tzu, Ivy, to Kennel Mart for grooming. He already had a mild infection, and during the session, they carelessly cut his vein. Instead of taking proper action, they applied potassium permanganate to stop the bleeding. They later called us inside and said they had applied potassium permanganate because blood was coming from the infection and even told us to buy more from a medical store to apply on the wound later. On our way back, we took Ivy to the hospital due to his infection, but the vet couldn't immediately identify the wound because of the chemical they applied. Later in the evening, we saw blood flowing continuously - like an open tap. We rushed him to the hospital, where the vet confirmed that his vein was cut. Ivy had to get stitches and an IV drip and still not recovered. What's worse, this is the third time they have caused a wound on my dog during grooming. This clearly shows a lack of proper care, training, and professionalism. This was an extremely traumatic experience - we could have lost our dog due to their careless and untrained grooming staff. I strongly urge other pet owners to think twice before taking their pets here. Update: The main manager of Kennel Mart is a kind-hearted pet lover, who acknowledged their mistakes and promised to take action. He also gave us compensation for medical expenses. Though this doesn't make Ivy's situation better, I really appreciate this gesture.
