Very good hotel to stay in Kottayam. I would say the best hotel in Kottayam town. Excellent rooms. Excellent service From the staff. Value for money. Huge parking space.. Bar attached You will get everything here... Highly recommended for groups, family and professionals... Great place in Kottayam 🤩

Food at Hotel Aida, Kottayam was absolutely disappointing, especially considering the prices they charge. I’ve attached photos as well. The Chicken 65 was completely tasteless and didn’t even have basic salt. The beef in the chilli beef was hard and clearly not cooked properly. The crumb fried prawns were mostly thick batter, over-fried, and you could barely taste the prawns. The cheese sticks were from frozen packets and just deep-fried, not made in-house at all. Fried rice and noodles were just average, nothing special. Overall, very poor value for money. Definitely not the quality you expect for the price.

I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the Aida hotel team for their outstanding hospitality. The banquet hall was beautifully arranged, creating the perfect atmosphere for the baptism of our baby Mariyam. The rooms were immaculate, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained, ensuring a relaxing stay. The food was simply delightful—every dish was prepared with care and presented with elegance, leaving a lasting impression on all guests. Above all, the service was exceptional; the staff’s professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made the experience truly memorable. Thank you for going above and beyond to provide such a wonderful environment. Your dedication to excellence is commendable, and I will gladly recommend this hotel to others.

It is a really nice spot to have some absolutely delicious food if you happen to find yourself in Kottayam. I had a bowl of mutton soup, served with a side of ghee rice and mango fish curry. The soup itself was surprisingly good and quite flavorful, but I found the ghee rice and curry to be quite bland and lacking any real spice or intensity.

It’s the ideal base for both business travelers and families. ​Facilities: The rooms are spotless and recently renovated. Pro-tip: If you're a solo business traveler, the Classic Mini rooms are incredibly efficient and budget-friendly. For families, the Master Suites (420 sq. ft.) offer the best value. ​The Truth: While the building carries a classic, old-school charm, the service "software" is cutting-edge. It’s rare to find a place where the staff stays this consistent over the years. The only minor bottleneck can be the parking during peak wedding/banquet hours, but the security team is very proactive in managing the flow. Truly a superb, reliable experience in 2026.
