The Homestay is amazing its right in front of the canal which hd amazing views and cute little fishes. The rooms were clean and spacious and the bathrooms were amazing and clean. The breakfast served was so yummy. Best place i have stayed in Kerala.
Such a lovely little homestay tucked right by the backwaters! ✨ The place is easily accessible both by road and water, which makes getting there super convenient. The moment you arrive, you’re welcomed not just by the serene views but also by the sweetest furry babies, Bella and Sundari 💖 Host Mini is absolutely wonderful. She's warm and always makes sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Everything about this place feels cozy, personal, and memorable. It’s a must visit spot, I’m definitely coming back here on my next trip!
I went on a one-hour boat ride on Vembanad Lake with Birscapes, and overall it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience. The sunset boating was especially beautiful, offering calm views and a relaxing atmosphere that made the ride truly memorable. The person who took us on the boat was friendly, helpful, and made us feel comfortable throughout the journey, which added positively to the experience. It was a nice way to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the lake. However, reaching the location was a bit tricky. The approach road is very narrow and runs along the side of the lake, which can be challenging, especially for those unfamiliar with the area. There were no life jackets in the boat. Despite the access difficulty, the boating experience itself was enjoyable and worth it, particularly for the peaceful sunset views.
A lovely homestay right along one of the canals of the backwaters where you can see lots of birds. It is in a nice and quiet neighbourhood. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the Kerala backwaters. The rooms are clean and facilities are good. The people can also arrange boating tours to see the sunrise or sunset. I can really recommend this friendly place
We had a wonderful stay at BirdScapes Kumarakom Homestay. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The homestay is located right in front of the canal with beautiful views and a calm atmosphere. The hosts were very warm and caring, making us feel like part of the family. The food was tasty and freshly prepared. Overall, it felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kumarakom.
