It's a great hotel, the staff is well behaved, especially the young man named Akhil, he has a very good experience and does everything we need in a good manner. He is a good staff.❤️
No lift - it might be ok for youngsters to walk one or 2 floors. How do you expect the elderly to do so?? And carry the luggage as well?? Because we had to carry ours. Room is ok, but congested. No water bottles provided Nothing else - no electric kettle, hairdryer nothing... Cupboard was stinking (probably because it was not opened in a while) and if you open the cupboard door, you cannot go into the bathroom, because the cupboard is right outside the bathroom door... TV- did not have any paid channels - so you are basically stuck with DD channels and Kairali. And it is not smart TV, so, you cannot even login and watch your own OTTs... Window- only one window (2 doors) and you cannot even open one of those doors because it is covered by the cupboard. Bathroom - no shower... No hot water. And of the two taps, one was loose. You close the tap, it turns around to one side... Room service - during our entire stay, not even one did they come to clean the room / change bath towels / take out the trash...
Its worth the money we pay, nothing exceptional. Clean room & bathroom. Room space is adequate, ventilation not well though. Locations is also at a good place if you have a vehicle.

Absolutely recommended for a group stay or solo stay in Kottayam! We had booked almost 10 rooms for a marriage function. They have 32 rooms in total. Susan, the owner, was actively involved in helping us plan the logistics and additionally went out of her way to arrange breakfast for the guests as well. The rooms are well maintained and the reception staff was very helpful. They even allowed 24x7 checkin, which was very helpful for the guests who arrived at different times. She was also helpful in giving us the best room rentals. Thanks Susan and Arackal Inn team for the pleasant stay!
