DO NOT take your pet to this clinic. We made the mistake of bringing our Labrador here and it cost us his life. The doctors and staff are rude, dismissive, and refuse to answer even basic questions. They put my dog on saline for 8 hours straight without any proper explanation, then decided to give him sedatives while he was already weak and panting. He had a high fever of 106, he was lying helpless on his side, and instead of urgent and proper treatment they dragged it ou charges us Rs.10000, covered things up, and kept us in the dark. My dog got a stroke under their so-called care, he could not move, he was panting heavily, and they still gave sedatives. He went into further distress and died. We lost our beloved family member because of their negligence. If you value your pet’s life, stay far away from this place. They do not care about animals. They do not care about families. They only care about money and covering up their mistakes.

I recently visited Vet Spectrum Animal &Bird Clinic for my dog. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly gentle with my pet. The clinic is clean, well-organized, and has a very calming atmosphere—which helped my dog feel at ease. The veterinarian was not only highly knowledgeable but also took the time to explain everything in detail and answered all of my questions with patience and care. They treated my dog like family, and that means everything to a pet parent! The treatment was thorough, and I could immediately see a positive change in my dog’s behavior and health. I truly appreciate the level of care and professionalism shown throughout the visit. The way Vetspectrum has supported me in my avian cases and the way doctors of Vet spectrum treated my Sundari (my pigeon) and gave her life back. I will always remain indebted to them. Vetspectrum even have supported me telephonically whenever I needed their support and also have helped me to nebulise my bird's through video demonstration. I took a rescued bulbul bird to this clinic for treatment as its leg was injured. They charged me ₹2000 for an X-ray, medicines and bandaging, but the service was very disappointing. The X-ray was not done properly – the actual dislocation near the hip was not even shown, The bandage was tied so tightly that the bird’s leg turned black. Within just 5 days, the bird unfortunately passed away.you can see the right leg and hip joint part not clear in the X-ray plate.But they bandaged the whole right leg. They told me that the leg was broken near the knee area I trusted the clinic to provide proper treatment, but instead I feel they mishandled the case and gave incorrect care. This was not only a financial loss but also a very painful experience, as the poor bird suffered.

Brilliant vet facility in South Kolkata. Probably the best out of all the vets we have had to personally deal with over the last 5 years. These folks are super friendly, professional, their space is modern, well designed and built to be a fully functional global standard vet facility for pets, which is a such a relief for our pets right here in Kolkata. Kudos team. Highly recommended.
