They literally killed my 13.5 years old cat without treatment. That day, he was having severe breathing trouble and was already on oxygen support at home. I called up the clinic at around 11:40 AM and asked them if doctor would be immediately available and that we wouldn't have to wait in queue as patient was in critical condition. After the person on the phone assured, we took him there within 10-15 mins. We expected them to provide some emergency drugs / life saving injections to try and save my cat's life but instead, they literally did nothing except for providing oxygen support which he was already getting at home. From around 12 noon to 1:15 PM, this callousness on their part continued and my cat's condition was getting worse by the minute. The doctor arrived at 1:15 PM, more than 75 mins after we took our cat there. They never warned us that the doctor would come late when we initially called them, otherwise we would have never taken our cat there in the first place. But their cruelty and insensitivity didn't stop there. Even when the doctor finally arrived and my cat was fighting with death on the other hand, the compounder in charge let a relatively normal dog to go for check-up first instead of prioritizing our dying cat. Since we had been requesting for help and medical intervention for our dying cat for a very long time and "bothering" him, this was probably his way of "teaching us a lesson" and "taking revenge on us". This was the final nail on the coffin which ensured our cat's death. Finally, without receiving treatment, our cat breathed his last at around 1:30 PM and after that, the doctor finally got time to check his dead body. The last few moments were unbearable for us to watch. Having to watch our cat who was like our child having to suffer so much without treatment and dying in front of our eyes, we had never felt so helpless before. This trauma will probably haunt us forever. I will never ever be able to forgive them for killing my child.
I would obviously say, their patient-care unit is really mentionable. I took a street cat, seeing notorious condition of her rectal prolapsing. They did the operation, within 1000 INR. She became my member of family, and she became quite good. But on the day of cutting stitch, they didn't even use a tool, except a scissor. They charged 250(INR). I asked when the previous day, of operation, they told I don't have to give anything. And I don't really know, is it at all loyal to take 250 rupees, just for cutting stitch?? I would show you the bill even, of operation. I don't know is it right or not to take 1000 rupees, for operation of rectal prolapsing!! But above all, I would say, their care unit is really mentionable. They take the care of the patients quite well.
The worst clinic ever. My doggo Simba was suffering from acute liver disease since 1-3 years for which he was having symptoms but whenever we went and see Dr. Sourav Banerjee every time he gave costly medicines for long coats and all and didn’t even properly diagnose the actual disease. He’s the worst vet ever and now we are seeing vet at Belgachia Vet Hospital who diagnosed the proper disease and now is under medication but there is a risk factor. Because of their negligence my child is suffering so badly. They charge high and kill your babies. Avoid this clinic and specially Dr. Sourav Banerjee totally.
Totally avoidable clinic. The clinic charges are exorbitant. Would have been justified if the staff were better trained or had better facilities. As a pet owner you need to be totally hands on. Charges Rs 600 to administer two simple injections on my cat. Follow up doctor visits are chargeable for every visit. All charges needs to be settled in cash. Better to visit alternate options, which are better and cheaper.
NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL! I understand that veterinary care is a business, but compassion and communication are essential — especially when people are trusting you with their animals. Unfortunately, that was missing here. I left feeling unheard and more stressed than when I arrived. I would not recommend this clinic if you’re looking for compassionate, patient-centered veterinary care.
