Very good and popular vet we have in Kolkata. A very senior profile with loads of experience. The shop is a One stop Solution for your pets.Behaviour of the owner and staffs are good and very friendly guidance you can expect from them. We are going there for 1 yrs now for our pet Toby and the treatment received is very good so far.. We are talking about 2021, post that we have not went there as we relocated. So no idea post 2021 (Oct) how is it..

IS SUBHAS SARKAR A DOCTOR?? I really doubt it because I have 2 instances where he showed his lack of experience, skill and expertise. First case- I took my pet indie cat to him as she was not eating, having bloody stools and had become completely inactive. He saw the patient very casually and didnt administer any drug. He told us to wait and we waited for 2 hrs still nothing was done. The staff over here are so rude and told us to wait as they were doing plaster for dog, imagine that was more urgent than treating an emergency. Doctor was not able to handle and do the i.v line for a long time and when he finally got it he just gave saline for 2 days and my cat wasnt improving at all. No medicines were given . So then i had to shift to another vet otherwise he would have killed my cat. Second case- It happened just few days back when i took my street cat to him as she was having severe fits and also her movements were gone. first they said that her temperature is too low so just put her below the heated lamp and nothing else was done. The cat's condition was getting worse as she started panting and drooling saliva. We told him to do something he gave her oral prednisolone. Imagine a cat who is not able to swallow was given oral drug!!!!! how can a doctor give oral drug and expect it to work in an emergency.This shows that he had already given up. After that when told that her temperature has increased he was sitting and writing prescription of drugs which can we given to her and that too in such a slow speed it took him atleast 20-25 mins. For emergency cases every minute counts which he didnt know i think so. By the time all this happened 2 hrs had crossed and she was gasping for breath. Then when we told him he saw her and said she wont survive. Right!! You the doctor didnt do anything so obviously she won't survive. Then he causally told his attendant to give her a shot of atropine and you wont believe even atropine wasnt there in the room he went out arranged for it and he was very scared to give her that. After that she breathed her last. My baby didnt survive. Was this treatment justified for her ??? Why couldnt the doc do anything more??? PLEASE DONOT TAKE YOUR PET TO THIS SO CALLED DOCTOR HE DIDNT EVEN TRY TO SAVE MY STRAY CAT AND WOULD HAVE KILLED MY PET CAT IF I HADNT TAKEN HER TO ANOTHER VET. Forgot to mention that his clinic is so dirty and poorly maintained and the attenders dont listen at all. They are very rude. I would really would give zero star to this clinic. For the sake of the love for your pet donot take them to this so called fake doc.

I would say don't recommend this doctor to anyone. Giving wrong medicine without any reason.. make puppy weak and sleepy day by day .... Only taking huge amount of money .... Doesn't know anything

This place is absolutely dangerous. Leaving my cat in the care of Dr. Subhas Sarkar and this clinic resulted in nothing but suffering and loss. For three days, my cat was given fluids and medications while his condition rapidly declined. It was painfully clear that the treatment was failing, yet the doctor and staff ignored the seriousness of his condition. There was no urgency, no accountability, and no real attempt to save him as his body began shutting down. I watched my cat suffer while the people responsible did nothing. This clinic showed shocking negligence and a complete lack of compassion. If you value your pet’s life, stay far away from this place. FYI his license was suspended in 2020.

Heartbreaking experience of my friend. Please be cautious. My friend trusted this clinic and Dr. Subhas Sarkar with their beloved cat. Over three days of saline and medication, his condition kept worsening, yet neither the doctor nor the staff showed urgency or concern. We watched him suffer with no clear explanation, plan, or solution, even when he was struggling to survive. Soon after, his internal organs failed and he passed away. The loss has been deeply traumatic. Learning later that the doctor’s license was suspended in 2020 makes this experience even more disturbing. Please think carefully before bringing your pet here.
