I had to keep two of my indie pups here for a week as I was on a vacation. Got my dogs back healthier and happier. I'm very satisfied with the service of Tails of Joy. My pups are looking forward to many more happy stays at your place.
The owner is simply a pet-businessman ,not a pet-lover.Surely get the rates confirmed in writing before booking for surgery or kennel or else you will have to pay extra money at discharge. The owner seems polite and well-mannered in the beginning but had a very bad experience in the end when we went to bring our labrador back from the kennel. Truly disappointed to see an unprofessional kennel owner asking for payment from his 3rd floor terrace to a pet parent standing on the road. We had made all payment in advance and did not expect such unmannerly behaviour from a so-called sophisticated clinic and kennel owner who claims the illogically highest rates for his services. An extremely arrogant person who spoke in a very undignified manner about street dogs and pets and pet parents who question his exuberant rates. It is hard to find another dog clinic in kolkata charging 10k for normal dog neutering. And 700rs a day for kennel charges are typically for those kennels where there are several other facilities for pets , not simply food and lodging as your kennel has. I think it's absolutely necessary to clarify the rates to a pet parent before they avail your services so that unpleasant experiences can be avoided in the end
I could never forget how Aneek helped me out with valuable advice when I was finalising my GSD pup. I was not buying from him, he did not have any profit from my purchase, he did not even know me. Yet he answered to all my calls and msgs with patience for an entire weekend. Clearly an absolute dog lover and genuine person. If I am to put some serious money for a pup in future, I would trust Aneek Bhattacharya above anybody else. Stay blessed brother. Thank you again for the help. Pic of my 9 month pup attached.
I am really thankful to Aneek for all the nursing and care that he and his team had given to my kitten ( who is my son too) during his stay as a member of his pet family. My son ( kitten) is doing fine now. After nuetering my kitten at the TAILS OF JOY VET CLINIC (near Menoka Cinema Hall) I kept him for few days in the creche TAILS OF JOY at Newalipore for the post operative care. They treated my kitten as their own pet family member....Aneek used to call him (kitten) Mamu....with the care and friendly appearance my kitten became comfortable in that unknown place after 2/ 3 days only. They took a good care. I am also thankful to Samrat and Subhankar( staff members) for taking such a good care along with Aneek. 🙏
A Lifesaving Experience at Tail of Joy Clinic and Boarding Center I wanted to share my heartfelt experience with Tail of Joy and how they saved my kitten Pluto's life. When Pluto fell sick - not eating, vomiting, and clearly unwell for 2-3 days - I immediately called Tail of Joy. They promptly sent their paramedic Shubhankar to my home, who arrived on time and began treatment with IV drips and amoxicillin as prescribed by their doctor. After a day with minimal improvement and given the difficulty of traveling daily from Howrah with a sick kitten, I requested that Pluto be admitted to their clinic. Shubhankar came on time to pick her up, and she began receiving drips and amoxicillin injections twice daily at their facility. Unfortunately, after five days of antibiotics with very minimal improvement, I consulted with their doctor again. This time, they wisely suggested a CBC and RT-PCR full kit test. The blood work revealed that Pluto had a Hemoprotozoa pathogen infection - a potentially deadly condition for cats and dogs. **Important advice for fellow pet parents:** If your cat shows similar symptoms, please don't wait five days on antibiotics alone. Insist on blood tests and RT-PCR testing as soon as possible. Early detection of this pathogen is crucial, as late diagnosis can be fatal. Once the correct diagnosis was made, proper treatment began immediately. After six days of targeted drips and injections, Pluto started eating on the fourth day, and by the sixth day, she was healthy enough to come home. She continues oral medication for a month, after which we'll do another CBC test to monitor her recovery. Finding a clinic in Kolkata that provides correct and diligent treatment is unfortunately rare, which makes me incredibly grateful for Tail of Joy. They ultimately saved my kitten's life. Special thanks to Aneek for arranging Pluto's treatment space and coordinating pickup and drop-off services promptly whenever needed. We've also used their boarding services, and while the care is excellent, I have one suggestion for improvement: it would be wonderful if pet parents could receive updates twice daily with photos and videos during boarding stays. Overall, I'm deeply thankful to the entire Tail of Joy team for their dedication and expertise in saving Pluto. **Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)**
