Very good veterinary Hospital. Doctor was also good unlike the hospital in Kumbalangi. Staff was also good. Clean and neat surrounding. Hope to see the same neatness and cooperation in future.
I brought my kitten seriously injured and the doctor he was like very very rude to us .his behaviour was it's like we're nothing.very rude.very bad experience.
I brought my cat to Palluruthy Government Veterinary Hospital when she was showing clear signs of serious illness after a miscarriage. The vet there didn't even examine her properly and casually prescribed a deworming tablet, completely ignoring her actual symptoms. Because of this careless misdiagnosis, my cat developed a severe uterine infection (pyometra) and had to undergo an emergency uterus removal surgery. She suffered immense pain and trauma because the early signs were ignored. On top of that, the tablet prescribed was only available at one outside pharmacy, which raises serious questions about whether doctors are taking commissions from that pharmacy. If you truly care about your pet's life, do not rely on this hospital for emergencies or serious cases. Pets cannot speak, and they trust us to protect them. It's heartbreaking that a government hospital failed so badly in its basic duty to care for animals.
It was my first experience visiting the veterinarian for my 2 month old kitten. The veterinarian seems to lack knowledge about his practice and profession. I agree that I don’t know what the pet was undergoing but expected the veterinarian would know. I had taken my kitten for medical diagnosis as the poor one was totally unconscious and paralysed. I had mentioned all the symptoms shown by the poor kitten. He told me that the kitten was unable to move or feed itself as I had fed her ready made food. He advised me to give medication for food intake and tiredness. I tried my best to treat my pet kitten as advised by the veterinarian expecting it would be fine. Due to my impatience and curiosity I researched in google for rabies symptoms and found that it was showing positive symptoms of rabies. I enquired about the characteristics with other doctors and they confirmed the same with me. And by consulting with other experienced doctors they advised me to take precautions and for the sake of the poor creature, I was told to euthanise it. I reluctantly agreed to their advice. I had to euthanise the kitten as it was going through involuntary nervous issues and muscle contractions, it was very painful to see the kitten undergo such condition. Again due to risks of infection within my family, we are taking precautions against the disease spread by getting vaccinated at Medical College Kalamassery. In conclusion, this Govt. veterinarian might be cheap and affordable for everyone but I sincerely request that you don’t take your pet to this veterinarian, rather you spend some money elsewhere if you need proper treatment and attention for your beloved pet.
The doctor here is really unprofessional and rude, doesn't care if the pets good treatment and he doesn't properly diagnose them. Only talks nonsense and gets angry with really insignificant matters. Had bad experience with the doctor 2 times, now i don't go there. If anybody cares about their pets please take them somewhere else, and not to this narcissist doctor.
