A friend recommended this place to me and I am glad I took my pet to the CDAT. The location is very good as it offers a peaceful place with sufficient space for dogs to run and explore. Dr. Rajan spoke to me at length on my first visit here to know more about my pet and my pet-related problems. Under his training, my pet has become a lot more manageable for me. He also advised me and trained me to stay confident and handle my dog. My kids too have benefitted from his advice as they are calmer when interacting with our dog. Overall, their training has made life a lot more easier.
I recently completed my dog trainer education at cochin dog training academy , and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of instruction and the overall learning experience. I joined the residential Professional Dog Trainers Training Course in February 2019. I wanted to learn to communicate better with dogs and thereby train my dog (pictured) to be a socially confident canine. However I learnt so much more about: canine behaviour, training puppies, essential first aid, grooming and most importantly -- the errors that I had unintentionally committed communicating roles and boundaries with my own dogs before this. The course is recommended to anyone who appreciates a direct hands-on approach to learning. The staff guided me patiently throughout the course and were genuinely keen and earnest in imparting their knowledge and experience. It was a wonderful learning experience which has bolstered my courage and equipped me with the necessary skills and understanding to help people and dogs coexist peacefully with each other.
The Cochin Dog Training Academy, located at Mangalathunada, Pattimattom, is a calm, comfortable and well-maintained boarding space suitable for all types of dogs. The peaceful surroundings and ample open space make it ideal for dogs to run, explore and relax. An added advantage is that the owner is a veterinary doctor. For my dachshund, it’s nothing less than a second home!
