Service is good but expense wise I really felt like too expensive. Visited the cochin pet hospital since my dog had an encounter with a poisonous snake in the mid night The positive thing I felt about this pet hospital is they are 24*7. Once we reached the doctor gave us a visit, took blood sample twice to check the clotting time and one time for testing other factors. Just for consultation and blood check they charged around 2000 rs We used to visit felican for the same purpose multiple times but including anti venom the charges were around 2.5k only while in cochin pet hsptl including anti venom they asked between 5 to 6k Service wise both felican n cochin pet hospital is good But considering the expense scale it's felican who is much more reliable with same level or a level above Service quality Than cochin pet hospital

Our Toy Poodle Coffee had dislocation of knee caps of both her hind legs and was virtually crawling when we took her to Cochin Pet Hospital. After conducting delicate specialised surgeries, now she is running like a wild hare. Very many thanks to the expert surgeon Dr. Surya Das and team. Special thanks to Dr. Sooraj for giving us able guidance as we had immense confidence in his efforts and establishment.

Very bad experience with this hospital , we did treatment for our dog almost 2 months, he had tick fever infection , every week same treatment , if treatment is not working then they should change the treatment but same treatment every week, and every appointment new doc for my dog. No continuity in doc so he can take this case seriously they just want to make Billa , almost 50k+ bill done but same situation as 2 month before. No personal care. Only money minded people. Don’t go here they just want to make money. My dog health decline and they just wanted to maintain his health in that situation so we can go there again and again and give money. Also o checked in there backside where they put dogs for there blood I guess for any patient blood transfer requirement. My god they were in very bad situation no proper food just yellow color water and no outing. If animal hospital put animals in that situation then how can they will be warm and sensitive with other patient, u can check other reviews too. They are just runing business no care just bills Bills. After 2 month only they were giving same treatment then without informing them we just take our reports and change the hospital and in other hospital just after 1 session my dog got improved they check old treatment and give new therapy obviously of something is not working basic therapy for 2 months then u should give next therapy right, this affects my dog liver and immunity badly .

Recently I visited this hospital. My dog is a indian dog and he was suffering from tick fever. It was identified at this hospital and treated. Now my Jacky is all right. Very fast recovery. Thanks team, especially Dr. Ajith Lal. He is very friendly and knowledgeable, and well-experienced. Now my boy is healthy and eats very well. Thanks Team 🙏

Medical Loss is Understood, But Cruelty is Non-Negotiable: A Record of My Shattering Experience To Dr. Hari: I am writing this to place on record the severe distress and trauma I experienced under your care. While I understand that medical outcomes are not always within a doctor’s control, the way you communicate with anxious pet guardians is entirely your responsibility. In this regard, my experience was shattering. I brought an abandoned, 2-3 week old kitten to you with complete trust. I followed your specific instructions to feed wet food rather than KMR, despite me specifically pointing out that the food pack said "2 months" while the kitten was only weeks old. I flagged this discrepancy, and you insisted it was fine. I trusted your medical authority over my common sense, and that trust was misplaced. When I called your hospital concerned about the kitten’s lethargy, I was reassured by your team that "kittens sleep" and not to worry. Yet, I walked over to the clinic because I could not rest on your assurance alone. I came in against your team's explicit advice to stay home. What followed was a horrific contradiction. After telling me to wait, you immediately shifted to aggression, questioning why I hadn't come sooner—directly contradicting the reassurance I had just been given. You forced me, a layperson in crisis, to make a technical medical decision—asking me to choose between a jugular or vein injection while angrily demanding I sign a risk waiver. I am not a veterinarian; placing the burden of a life-or-death procedure choice on a panicked pet parent is a failure of your duty of care. This chaotic and insensitive approach is not an isolated incident; it is a pattern. Two years ago, with another cat, we faced a similar contradiction that ended in loss. In that instance, a 3,000 rupee scan was performed *after* the doctor was already convinced we had lost her, effectively exploiting us while we were frozen in a state of shock. To simply state "collapsed" regarding this kitten and walk away without a single word of explanation, reassurance, or basic human decency is unacceptable. It left me in a state of shock that I am still unable to sleep through. I have also witnessed you interrogating a grieving family who had just lost their dog, bombarding them with questions about what they did wrong while they were standing there in pain. That is not medical care; that is cruelty. As a mental health professional who works with trauma, I identify your behavior not just as rude, but as psychologically damaging. I strongly urge Dr. Sooraj to mandate sensitivity and communication training for you and the team. Pet parents come to you anxious and vulnerable; we need clarity and steady guidance, not intimidation. I have held back from writing this review since 2021, silencing my own discomfort despite repeated insensitive encounters. I kept returning solely because you are the closest facility to my home, it was a choice born of access, not trust. However, despite Dr. Sooraj’s reassurances, the heartbreak this time feels too heavy to carry. I truly doubt I have it in me to ever walk through your doors again.
