On our very first visit to check the place out we were quite impressed with the Ample space and the Kennel space provided for the dogs. Each Kennel had an outdoor Area as an extension. And we had the opportunity to talk to Shafi Who is the owner. He’s a vet as well as dog trainer. He understood our apprehension and hesitation in leaving our fur baby in his care and reassured us that he will take good care of her. He Also updated us regularly with videos. If your are looking to board your pooch, Hyderabad K9 Academy is the one. We have boarded our Cocker Spaniel a couple of times now, they have well trained, experienced staff to care for. There is enough open space for the dogs to run around and a large pool to swim in. Our's loves the pool. We boarded ours the longest for a week, he was well taken care of and they do update us at the end of the day with pics and videos. The pool is available if you are looking to take your dog for just a swim. Hatim, who owns the place, knows what it means to care for a your Pooch.

He would bark, lunge, and pull whenever he saw other dogs or animals. He barked from the car, from the fence, and his recall was almost nonexistent. Leaving him alone or expecting him to listen felt impossible. That’s when Shafi, a renowned veterinarian and pet behaviorist, along with Khalil, completely transformed not just my dog but also me as a handler. From the very beginning, their approach stood out. This was not just basic obedience training. It was behavioral rehabilitation, backed by deep knowledge of canine psychology, patience, and real-world experience. Baby has improved tremendously. He no longer lunges or reacts excessively, and even in situations where he does feel triggered, I now know how to calmly and confidently handle him. They taught me how to read Baby’s signals, how to manage reactive situations, and how to maintain consistency at home. That guidance is priceless. Another wonderful feature of this academy is their dedicated dog swimming pool. Every week, I personally went and swam along with Baby, which helped tremendously with his confidence, fitness, and bonding. Customers can also book individual swimming sessions separately, even if they are not enrolled in full training, which is a fantastic option for enrichment and exercise.
