I am regretfully writing to share my recent unsatisfactory experience at this grooming studio, as I believe other pet owners—especially cat owners—should be aware of what to expect. The staff clearly lacked adequate training in cat grooming. My cat, who is typically calm and friendly, was treated with the same approaches used for dogs, which was completely inappropriate. The groomers only knew how to do a basic “summer cut,” which is essentially a very short shave (often referred to as a “0” cut for dogs), and did not seem familiar with proper feline grooming techniques. This resulted in a haircut that did not meet my expectations or professional cat grooming standards. During the session, I could hear my cat screaming and hissing in distress. There were four people handling him at once, which was both unnecessary and stressful for him. When I expressed my concerns and asked the staff to be more gentle, they responded by laughing among themselves and instructed someone to close the door so I couldn’t observe the process. This lack of transparency and respect for my concerns was deeply disappointing. On arrival, there was no receptionist present, and the CCTV TV—which would normally allow owners to monitor their pets—was turned off. The grooming cabin itself was not clean, with hair scattered everywhere and combs covered in dog hair left in an unsanitary tray. Overall, I would not recommend this studio for cat grooming. The lack of feline expertise, poor handling of my pet, unprofessional response to feedback, and unhygienic conditions make this a poor choice for anyone seeking quality and compassionate care for their cats.
