Good experience! All the staff were really lovely, especially those on reception who were fun, helpful and spoke great English. The price for a dorm room was very reasonable. I felt very safe in the hostel as a single woman. The hostel itself is fine, there is a lot of seating in the lobby and basement which is nice to chill in, however there isn’t air con in these areas, just fans. But in the rooms there was air con and fans which were on all day and night. The room was clean. The location is good, near New Delhi railway station and metro. They have a cafe serving food downstairs, the staff there were nice but again no air con.

I stayed at Zostel Delhi for three days and was genuinely impressed by the experience. The staff were incredibly hospitable - special thanks to Sam, who was an amazing host! The hostel has a cool interior, great amenities, and feels very safe with a security guard stationed at the entrance. While the location can be a bit hectic (the street gets quite packed and you have to hop into your Uber quickly), the overall comfort, atmosphere, and service more than make up for it. I’d definitely recommend Zostel Delhi to anyone visiting the city!

I have been to this place twice. This was actually my first visit to any hostel style lodging so things were new for me. The staff was very polite and professional. Thumbs up for that. My only concern is washroom. Couple of cockroaches. I also had food in the cafe- reasonably priced but maybe on that day there werent many options. The location - thats debatable, on one hand its on walking distance to ndls and on the other its the shadiest part of delhi. The zostel itself is actually very close to the main road which is very wide but the general area is questionable. If you are a solo traveller (especially a girl) dont wander around too late. I did that personally, did not like it.

The staff was really rude! They kept harassing us for the checkout every 5-10 minutes. The checkout time is 10 AM but during check-in they told us that we can check out at around 11-11:30. But during checkout they kept calling and knocking at our doors every 5-10 mins from 10 AM which was really annoying and unprofessional. Even after requesting the staff to give us some time they kept calling and knocking at our doors repeatedly every 5-10 minutes. Also, on night of 4th November the night staff was really rude. I reserved the same category room for 5th November via a separate booking on the app. And when I went to the counter to pay the remaining balance the night staff was really confused and said I haven’t paid for my previous 2 day stay. I Showed him the phone pay receipts and he was still confused as to whether I had paid or not and told me there is an outstanding payment of 6k. Further, he asked me to switch rooms for 5th November for no reason. I had booked the same category room and he was asking me to shift to another room for 5th November. His behaviour and mannerisms were not something zostel is known for. He was really unwelcoming and kept on insisting us to vacate the room and shift to another room. The staff is usually welcoming and courteous with foreigners but they don’t treat Indians with same respect and courtesy. There is an urgent need to seriously train the reception staff or replace them before zostel delhi loses its reputation. I will never stay in Zostel Delhi or recommend zostel Delhi to anyone again. Our stay at Zostel Delhi was exceptional from start to finish, and it truly deserves full marks on every aspect. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a super aesthetic reception lobby that immediately gave a warm, vibrant, and youthful feel to the place. It set a perfect first impression of what turned out to be an amazing stay. We booked the Twin Deluxe Room, and it was one of the cleanest and most thoughtfully designed hostel rooms we’ve stayed in. The room was spotless, well-lit, and equipped with a cozy seating area that added an extra level of comfort. The washroom was extremely clean and hygienic, maintained throughout the day, and we had all-time warm water in the tap, which was a big plus. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind after long days of exploring. A major highlight of Zostel Delhi is the staff. Every team member we met was more than helpful, polite, and always smiling. Whether it was reception, housekeeping, or café staff, everyone carried a genuine warmth that made us feel welcome and cared for. Their hospitality really elevates the entire experience. The café inside Zostel also stood out. It’s beautifully done with an aesthetic vibe that makes it a perfect spot to chill or work. The guy at the café was super friendly, polite, and extremely helpful, serving everything with a cheerful smile. His positive energy added to the charm of the place. Overall, our stay at Zostel Delhi was a flawless 10/10. Beautiful interiors, clean and comfortable rooms, warm hospitality, and a café with great vibes — everything came together perfectly. We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Delhi and would love to stay here again on our next trip.
