Personally, I find this clinic very good and safe for animals. The doctor here, Dr. Kaushal, and his staff are very helpful, sweet, and kind-natured. I got my cat checked here, and I’m happy that I received a positive response. This is one of the best clinics in Dehradun.

Dr. Kaushal sir has been amazing when it comes to treating my 7 year old Golden Retriever! His treatments have always worked and he is an amazing and genuine vet who truly cares for our pets' well being, and not just dragging the treatment for monetary benefits. He guides us thoroughly and is straight forward with everything. Staff is very humble and supportive. Whoever is reading this, please come to him and I bet you won't regret it. Your pet is in safe hands with doon Pet Clinic. God Bless you guys

I want to bring this to everyone’s kind attention—if you are absolutely helpless and need immediate attention in the middle of the night, this place may seem like an option. However, if you truly care about your pet and expect compassion and competence from the doctor, I would strongly advise against it. While the support staff was polite and cooperative, the doctor himself was extremely unprofessional, incompetent, and showed a complete lack of humanity. My experience felt purely transactional and business-driven. I rescued a stray puppy (approximately 3 months old) and brought him in at 12 AM. I was charged ₹2,850 merely for diagnosis, keeping him overnight, and administering just 50 ml of drip. On top of that, I was asked to pay an additional ₹2,000 as “security”, in case I didn’t return to collect the puppy the next morning—which I absolutely did. The next morning, when I requested basic hydration for the puppy, despite already paying a significant amount the previous night, I was told that hydration and another drip would be charged separately again. This was shocking, especially considering the puppy was a rescued stray and clearly in distress. What further questions the doctor’s credibility is that he tested the puppy for distemper, verbally indicating concern, yet the prescription clearly shows the result as negative. This inconsistency alone raises serious doubts about his diagnosis and competence. When I questioned why the puppy had not been properly hydrated, instead of addressing the concern professionally, the doctor had the audacity to tell me that I should have taken the puppy to an NGO, as treating strays is “not their business.” This statement alone reflects a severe lack of empathy and ethical responsibility, especially from someone in a profession meant to heal and protect animals. You may take this as a rant if you wish, but this is my honest and genuine experience. Please think twice before trusting this doctor with a life that depends on care, compassion, and competence.

I’ve been visiting this clinic for over 10 years now, and every single time, I’ve left completely satisfied. The doctor is an exceptional veterinarian — highly skilled, patient, and genuinely caring toward every animal he treats. His calm and compassionate approach always puts both pets and owners at ease. The staff here are equally wonderful — polite, professional, and always ready to help. The overall atmosphere of the clinic reflects their dedication and love for animals. I would highly recommend this clinic to every pet parent. You can trust them wholeheartedly with your furry companions

UNETHICAL AND RUDE STAFFS AMD DOCTORS. Important Warning to All Pet Owners** When you try to confront them, they respond with pure arrogance, saying things like *“Do whatever you want, nothing will happen to us.” the real loss, heartbreak, and pain always fall on the pet owner who truly loved their animal. This clinic is filled with unethical and careless behaviour. Their staff shows no sense of responsibility, no medical ethics, and no compassion. My cat escaped from inside their clinic after an injection because the doctor left the door open — and instead of helping, they spoke rudely and blamed us. There are many honest and ethical vets in Majra and nearby areas who treat pets with genuine care and charge reasonable fees — please go to them instead. (There is one lady vet in clement town she treats animals like babies and with full medical ethics) And there are high chances that one day your pet would get hurt because of their negligence.... Don’t risk your pet’s life in a place that values money more than lives. If Your Pet Suffers Because of Veterinary Negligence** Pet owners, please know — **you have legal rights**. If a vet or staff’s carelessness causes injury, distress, or the loss of your pet, it legally counts as **Veterinary Negligence** in India. 1. **Consumer Protection Act, 2019** * Section 2(11): Deficiency in service (negligence in treatment or handling). * File a complaint at your **District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum**. 2. **Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960** * Section 11(1)(h) & (i): Failure to provide reasonable care and supervision to animals. * Report to **SPCA (Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)** or **Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI)**. 3. **Indian Penal Code (IPC)** * **Section 289:** Negligent conduct with respect to animals. * **Sections 428–429:** Causing death or loss of an animal through negligence. * File a written complaint in your **local police station**. 4. **Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984** * Section 30(1): For professional misconduct or unethical behaviour. * Report to your **State Veterinary Council** (can lead to inquiry or suspensio of their license) I share this so no one else has to face what I did. We can’t bring our pets back, but we can hold such careless clinics accountable. Please be aware, speak up, and always choose a vet who treats animals with **respect, empathy, and ethics** — not just as a business.
