Very good stay at Hotel Emerald. Staff behaviour was good. Food is delicious. Room are neat and clean.Very good hotel for Family Stay
Good hotel in sector 8C of chandigarh. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are courteous. No lift facility. Ample parking is available outside the restaurant. Room service is available and Staff responded quickly upon request. We had complimentary breakfast on 2 different days and the spread was adequate and tasty. They helped us courier clothes and other items purchased in Punjab to Bangalore at reasonable prices. Definitely worth a stay while in chandigarh.
The staff was very polite and room service was good. The staff also provided hot water in a bucket in 'geyser-off' times, for my spouses medical requirements. They also took care of sending our left over kashmiri ladies' jacket by courier for which we appreciate them.
Absolutely worst and third-class hotel. Do NOT stay here. This place is a complete waste of money. No water in the bathrooms, zero hospitality, and the beds and pillows stink badly. The rooms are suffocating and unbearable—you can’t even sleep properly. Staying in a dharamshala or even sleeping in your car is far better than spending a night in this horrible place. Avoid at all costs.
We arrived from New Zealand and booked this hotel for one night while travelling chandigarh. I paid ₹4,000 for the stay. We were not at the hotel for most of the evening and returned around 10:30 pm only because the children needed to shower and rest. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. There was no hot water. My son was standing in the shower area without clothes for over 10 minutes waiting for hot water. We had to call the hotel staff, and a staff member came and kept the water running for over 30 minutes, but there was still no hot water at all. As a result, none of my family members were able to shower. The cleanliness was also very poor. The blankets and bedsheets were dirty and looked like they had not been properly cleaned. The room also had a strong paint smell, and the staff had to come and spray room freshener to mask it. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. The room was not worth the price, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Hotel manager does not care when we addressed these issues.
