Anchorage 42

A wonderful little guest house in a quiet location close to many tourist sites. It's only a 10min walk to the lake, and a 5min tuk-tuk ride to a huge food court. The guest house itself is rather special, with beautiful art-deco furniture and artwork on every wall. The staff were helpful and the breakfast had plenty of options. Do ask for the extra mattress topper, the standard mattress was way to firm for us. Ideal for a few nights in Chandigarh. Oh, and do ask about having a tour of Chandigarh with the expert local guide Sanjeev Sharma!

The host was friendly, responsive, and clearly proud of the property, offering helpful information and recommendations that enhanced our visit. If you're looking for a stay that breaks away from the ordinary and offers something truly distinctive, this eccentric Airbnb is a fantastic choice. It's perfect for travelers who appreciate creativity, individuality, and an experience that's as memorable as the destination itself.

A wonderful boutique hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the whole hotel is adorned with Capt Dan's art collection. You may feel like you are staying in a top class art gallery. The staff are great, and everything works... the AC/heating, the shower, the toilet, the lights.... which is quite rare for India. Breakfast was also excellent with everything cooked fresh to order. I think this is our favourite place to stay during our 3 week tour.

Found this super amazing home stay right near to sukhna lake in sector 8. All Major market sectors nearby , this place has exceptional inferiors , art work , Bollywood memories. We had deluxe suit it was huge with all modern amenities. Our pet loved the stay and walks around the area. Breakfast was delicious and special thanks to Capt. Inderpreet Singh Dhanoa for his hospitality

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at Anchorage 42, Chandigarh twice now once in 2025 with my dog, and again in 2026 with my mother and mama and both experiences were equally wonderful. The property is a beautiful bungalow nestled in a peaceful, serene location. The moment you enter, there’s a sense of calm that’s hard to find these days. It’s quiet, green, and incredibly well maintained — perfect whether you’re travelling with family or even a pet. The surroundings make it ideal for slow mornings and relaxed evenings. What truly sets Anchorage 42 apart is the warmth of the host. They are genuinely kind, attentive, and make you feel completely at home. The customer service is exceptional — thoughtful, prompt, and always accommodating. The food deserves a special mention — absolutely delicious, fresh, and comforting. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chandigarh and looking for a peaceful, warm, and beautifully hosted stay. ✨
