I am sharing this not to attack, but to warn others. My beloved dog, Meeka, passed away after a relapse of tick fever — a condition she had recovered from before. Despite clear signs of illness, the handling of her treatment this time was, in my view, negligent and delayed. On Day 1 of symptoms, she was not given any antibiotics. On Day 2, only a partial dose of doxycycline (200 mg instead of the full 300 mg for her weight) and metronidazole were given — still no clindamycin, which is often essential in such protozoal infections. By Day 3, she was deteriorating rapidly, yet the doctor delayed antibiotics further, saying her fever (which had reached 105°F) needed to come down first — a statement that contradicts standard urgent care for tick-borne illness. What’s more distressing is that on the final day, when Meeka needed urgent care, Dr. Narinder left at exactly 2 PM for lunch, leaving us with an attendant who was not even a qualified nurse. My dog was in pain, dehydrated, and struggling, and no qualified medical help was present. She passed away later that day. Delaying treatment in a suspected relapse of tick fever can cost a life. I wish someone had treated Meeka's condition with the urgency and clinical judgment it demanded. Her death could potentially have been prevented with early, complete antibiotic coverage and proper monitoring. Please take your pets where their care is prioritized from the first sign of danger. Not much dealt with the Doctor. Visited for check up of my Guinea Pig. Soft spoken, good behaviour with my Guinea Pig, observed, listen, checked and calm natured. Wish to give 5 star rating but lemme go through all procedure of medication of my pet first then ratings will be finalised. Google Maps will lead you to front side but entry is on back side (ground floor). It has mentioned 24x7 emergency but may be due to lockdown Doctor is not attending on odd hours of the day.
