Dr. Mukesh Tiwari – Ego Over Ethics at Bhopal’s Flashiest Vet Clinic I wouldn’t recommend this clinic to anyone—not even as a last resort. From the moment we entered, it was clear this place prioritized appearances over care. Flashy interiors, posing pet parents, and a focus on social image—everything screamed style over substance. And that superficiality cost us dearly. My dog was critically ill. We were desperate. But we were kept waiting for hours. No triage, no urgency, no empathy. When the vet finally arrived, he didn’t act like someone walking into a medical emergency. Loud bhajans played from his laptop. He didn’t even pause them—not when my dog started having seizures, not when we pleaded for help. The indifference was chilling. He barely looked at our dog, who was crying in pain. Then came the misdiagnosis: he called a lifelong case of hip dysplasia a dislocation and plastered the wrong leg. Paralysis in the hind legs? Ignored. A clear lab report diagnosing Ehrlichia canis? Brushed aside. No doxycycline prescribed. Instead, he blamed distemper—and bizarrely suggested it came from the incompetent vaccine company. Not only was that wrong, it sounded like an excuse to avoid responsibility. This wasn’t a minor mistake. It was fatal negligence. I genuinely believe my dog could have survived with proper, timely care. But that didn’t happen. Staff were mostly unqualified—just guessing their way through procedures. A few exceptions cared, but they couldn’t compensate for a broken system led by a vet more interested in status than science. He has only a BVSc degree realised later, and it shows—not in what he knows, but how he acts. If you're not from the VIP circle or someone "influential," don’t expect attention. The moment someone “important” walks in, everyone else—including critical cases—is forgotten. We saw this firsthand waited for 30 mins as he was chit chatting with politicians relatives talking about day to day life. Our questions were met with negligence. When we asked about medication, the response was, “Why do they keep asking?” We spent a lot, willingly, hoping for help. But we didn’t fit their image. My dog was a Samoyed, but we weren’t “fancy” enough. And if you bring in a stray Indie in bad shape? Don’t be surprised if the doctor won’t even touch them—assistants will. To be fair: they’re the only clinic in Bhopal with laser therapy for arthritis. For that one issue, it may help. But beyond that? The risk is too high. Real clinics in Bhopal and Indore exist—run by vets with skill, emergency protocols, and compassion. This isn’t one of them. If your pet’s life matters to you, don’t go here. We lost ours. And I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. P.S. – This isn’t grief or rage. It’s a factual, personal account. You deserve to know.

The best vet and human being I have met. He is always responsive on call and I have taken so many indies to him for treatment. He is always super supportive and yes he has the best diagnostic machines. He is always looking at all the cases very carefully and always explain things very well. You are more than a vet for my pets sir, you are like an elder brother.
