Urgent for Cessna Management to read this- I had one of the worst experiences with this doctor named VidyaVarsha MJ- My pet had blood spotting from his ear now. The vet didn’t even bother to properly touch or examine my dog. Despite explaining my concern in detail, the doctor forgot to write down the prescribed medication altogether. The main issue was ear cleaning — I specifically requested a complete hair cleaning inside the ear, yet the doctor didn’t give any instructions to the assistant. The assistant had no clue what to do, kept asking me for guidance, and the doctor just sat by the system completely ignoring and not supervising at all. When I questioned it, the doctor had the audacity to say maybe the previous assistant “knew it” and this one didn’t. How on earth am I supposed to know which assistant is qualified or not? That’s your job as a vet to identify right assistant for my concern and provide instruction . My pet is in hurt now.- please do watch the surveillance you have to see the ignorance of the doctor - specifically urging the Cessna management on this- I am coming from 4 years and such doctors will only tear down what is build by you. This doctor showed zero diligence, zero professionalism, and an extremely poor attitude. A vet should be attentive, examine the pet carefully, listen to the owner, and offer solutions — not act dismissive and arrogant. I would strongly advise anyone who genuinely cares for their pet to stay far away from this Doctor - Vidyavarsha MJ She also mentioned I shouldn’t speak and ask questions to doctor, I mean excuse me I see my dog been treated wrongly right in front of my eyes and I sit by and say nothing ? Respect is earned, a title do not guarantee it, it’s called entitlement behaviour which further only explains the arrogance of the doctor. The ear cleaning was also incomplete and still been charged by the vet. They begin the cleaning incorrectly after which there was no option of fully completing it, only option was to leave with what is half cleaned as due to incorrect method there was no further solution for it.
Update on 17/12/25: I had contacted Cessna for Basmi capsules, a FIP treatment that's still relatively new to the market. Please note that loose capsules that are constantly exposed to the environment + constant handling have reduced efficacy. The cessna team not only sells them loose, but they're touching them with ungloved hands. Shockingly unhygienic practice that can and will reduce the effects of the medicine. And on top of it all, in true cessna practice, they've upmarked the medicine by ⅓rd of the price! Cessna's quality of treatment for my pets oscillates between good and barely acceptable. Dr. Aishwarya is my preferred vet, and she's great at what she does. Their night doctors, however, generally seem quite inexperienced. They once made the process of blood donation extremely stressful and behaved downright unprofessionally. Cessna's customer service, though, is appalling. Ridiculously high charges, long wait times with zero communication, and very poor clinic management. And they *really* do not care (unless you have a pending bill, then they'll dedicatedly call you 2-3 times a day). A simple visit is most likely going to be a stressful process for both you and your pet.
I’m incredibly grateful to the entire team for the care they provided to my cat, Simba, during one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. From the moment he was admitted, what stood out the most was how deeply and genuinely he was cared for. During his hospital stay, I received two to three updates every single day, including videos, along with a daily phone call from the doctors explaining his overall condition in detail. That level of communication made an unbearable situation feel manageable and reassured me that Simba was never just another case. Another thing that truly stood out was how involved the consultation doctor remained throughout this entire journey. Every time he saw me at the hospital, he would stop to ask for updates on Simba’s progress and check in on how he was doing. That consistency and personal concern made me strongly believe that the doctors here are not just doing their jobs, but are genuinely invested in the well-being of the animals they treat. What touched me deeply was that even after discharge, the IPD doctors checked in with me via WhatsApp the very next day — asking about his appetite, energy levels, and general health. This was completely unexpected and meant the world to me. It made me feel that Simba was valued as a life, not just a patient or a source of revenue. The doctors were incredibly patient with my many questions, often asked from a place of panic and anxiety after hearing the word parvo. They supported us through the diagnosis with empathy and clarity. Early detection and immediate intervention were absolute game changers, and I’m so thankful they never took his condition lightly. Every necessary test, treatment, and supportive measure was done promptly to stabilize him and give him the best possible chance — and it worked. Another huge reassurance was knowing that this hospital is open 24/7, all days of the week — even on holidays and festivals. In moments of emergency, that availability makes all the difference. Any fur baby in urgent need of care will truly be in safe hands here. Today, Simba is safe at home with me. That was all I had desperately prayed for during those days, and the doctors and staff made it happen through their dedication, expertise, and compassion. I will forever be grateful to this hospital and its team for saving my baby and for treating both of us with such kindness during an incredibly difficult time. Thank you for everything.
I brought my pet bird to this hospital late at night in a critical condition. He was kept under oxygen and observation, but unfortunately he did not survive. I was charged a total of ₹1600 — ₹600 as consultation fees and an additional ₹1000 as a late-night fee (after 8:00 pm). While I understand that emergency care involves costs and outcomes cannot be guaranteed, the overall experience was extremely distressing and disappointing. During the consultation, I was informed that fluids would be given to help with his energy levels, but this did not appear to be administered. There was also limited communication about the exact treatment plan, what was being actively done during observation, or why certain steps were not taken. In such a critical and emotional situation, clearer explanations and transparency would have made a big difference. I also felt that the level of experience available during this emergency did not inspire confidence for a critical avian case. If more experienced doctors were unavailable due to shift timings, this could have been communicated more clearly. Losing a pet is extremely painful. While I understand that not every emergency case can be saved, better communication, clearer expectations around treatment, and more sensitivity regarding charges would help pet parents during such difficult moments, especially those who may struggle to afford emergency fees. I hope the hospital takes this feedback constructively to improve communication and support for pet owners in emergency situations.
Our Pepe crossed the rainbow bridge today. He fought bravely through a sudden and serious illness, and despite every effort, his body had been through too much. We are grateful for the love, care, and compassion shown to him by the doctors and nurses at Cessna who stood by him till the very end. Our sincere thanks to doctors Parth, Amruth, Malavika, Adarsh, Ramesh, Pawan, Devaraja sir, and all the staff across IPD, Surgery and the rest. Your kindness and care gave our boy a huge fighting chance and we remain indebted. Run free, sweet boy. You were loved beyond measure, and you always will be. 🌈
