We are super happy with Dipthi and her training skills. We being first time pet parents had absolutely no idea about taking care of a pet, and now, when someone says Taro (our pet Labrador puppy) is a well behaved dog, we only have Dipthi to thank for it. She has not only trained Taro, but trained us also to train him. She is very affectionate towards him and the bonding between them is to be seen to be believed. The best part of the whole package is that Dipthi is available always and the training never ends with the alloted number of sessions . She is eveready to help us out with any issue pertaining to his behaviour. We would surely recommend her to all pet parents!!
I have absolutely loved working with Deepthi! Her knowledge and love for dogs really shows with every session. My pup is absolutely lovely except for certain attention seeking behaviours and she was very quick to identify the issue and help us understand our dog! Her training sessions are well planned, in-depth and engaging. She really knows how to keep your dog intrested in training and always wants to set up the dog for success. It's only been a few sessions but the improvement in my pups behaviour has been immense. Moreover I love that my pup gets to interact with other dogs, such as during a lovely Trek she had organised with a few other dogs. Can't recommend enough!
We have 3 lab siblings and since this is our first time raising multiple fur babies at the same time we required professional help. We researched quite extensively for a trainer who does not use any harsh methods of training. And after contacting many trainers we came accross Happy puppers on Google. I went through their Instagram page and web page and found her to be very passionate so we contacted Deepti to train them in August (mode of training was online). The first few calls were to understand our requirements, lifestyle, the puppies, their behaviour (each dog has unique challenges) etc. To my surprise it was an extremely detailed discussion (a very long call) and things that we never considered so far. She also explained the logic behind the need to have such deep clarity. Once our training started, these were some of the things I really liked about deepti's approach: 1. To let dogs be dogs - Embrace their nature and still get them to adapt to our lifestyle. 2. Dog first at all times - There were times when the pups fell asleep when we logged in for the training session and she completely empathised and either rescheduled the class or had a theory session instead. 3. There were times when unexpected guests turned up during our training session and instead of ending the class she considered it an opportunity for us to put our learnings into action. Our classes turned fun with her guiding us on what command we can use and how our guests could contribute meaningfully too. 4. Positive reinforcement 5. Games.!!! She knows so many cool games for our fur babies that are definitely not found online. Obviously the games resulted in a stronger bond with each of us. The way our online training mode worked was a mixture of all the points mentioned below: 1. Theory sessions: Deepti explained the root cause of the pup's behaviour, situations wherein we per parents unintentionally develop bad habits, how to rework on it, new methods that we can try etc. 2. Practicals (the fun part) We had our phone camera set up at an angle and worked with 1 pup at a time. She used to guide us on each command and we used to do the same. In case of difficulty in understanding, she used to get her dogs Coco and vanilla and show us how exactly we were meant to work with our pups. 3. Sharing recordings of our practice sessions at home: this is a very important part wherein we had to shoot videos of our practice sessions after the call and share via whatsapp for feedback. Even though we couldn't manage capturing much due to our work schedules and multiple pups, she still guided us at all times. 4. Feedback session: to discuss the challenges we faced and how to overcome it. Apart from these, since we were dealing with 3 fur babies at the same time, she visited us to have live sessions and also invited us to socialize our pups with other pups. For us it was a super insightful journey. We definitely recommend Deepti for your fur babies. She's extremely passionate, knowledgeable and approachable even after training sessions.
When Sally our pet beagle became a mom of 5 Puppies ,we were exhilarated with the sheer joy of seeing these furry babies play together & exhausted coping up with their relentless energy all at the same time! Fortunately, our wonderful neighbor Kavery who is already a proud owner of a boxer Zack and a cocker spaniel Leia was kind enough to take home two of our puppies, Thor & Scooby . Kavery went the extra mile and got her cousin who is also a huge dog lover (and proud pawrent of a boxer Danny already) to adopt one more of our puppies -Chester. Though Sally herself was the seventh doggie in over five decades of our life with canines, we were clueless in understanding how to balance & achieve peace with this triple doggie dynamics between the mummy Sally and the puppies Tom & Daisy ! Our good Samaritan Kavery was the one who introduced Deepthi to us as , she had engaged Deepthi to help her train Zack and was using her currently for Thor & Scooby. She was instrumental in getting Deepthi train Chester too. The very first interaction itself between our little rowdies Tom and Daisy with Deepthi ,the dog whisperer ,was magical and we could see miracles happen! Deepthi helped us to understand our pets better and see things from their perspective. What appealed the most were her gentle & positive ways of training with absolutely nothing harsh & aggressive. She is a very patient listener & understands each family’s lifestyle and specific requirements before figuring out the training program. She was kind enough to adjust her training schedule totally as per my erratic routine . In our case, since I was shuttling between my parents’ place in Basavanagudi and our place on Convent Road, she was kind enough to visit both locations. I had two specific concerns ,one where I wanted the pets to behave and not jump on my in-laws who were aged & confined to the wheelchair & Another was to prevent these puppies from gaining stealth entry & stealing flowers from the puja room (where my parents would spend hours every morning )! Deepthi visited both places & helped me to train and taught us ways to cope up with this. She insists that we reward the puppies with words of consistent love and appreciation (besides treats!) and these help in the pets develop faith in us & strengthen our bonds with the puppies. She wanted us to engage all three doggies in activities that can channelize their energy in the right way. Since Deepthi was training all the five puppies of Sally, she was magnanimous enough to organize an exclusive puppies family reunion at her center. All three owners and 5 puppies showed up at her place .We & the puppies had the time of our lives. It was an emotionally enriching moment to see the puppies ,fight, bond and play especially with her wonderful angels Cocoa and Vanilla. Not just that ,Deepthi also invited us to a birthday party of Troopy ,another beagle at the center. The puppies learnt a lot from this socializing experience. So did we the Grand Pawrents. Overall, this whole grand Pawrenting experience was made endurable and enjoyable only because of having Deepthi’s professional expert advice & support all along our journey. Hence would undoubtedly, strongly recommend Deepthi for her pleasant nature, patience, domain knowledge and responsiveness. Note; Of course, we Grand pawrents also have to do our homework and submit H.W. videos on time!!Deeepthi is a tough task master!
It’s rare to come across a professional who is this generous even before the engagement begins. From the very first conversation, she spent an incredible amount of time patiently understanding our concerns and explaining what might be going on with our poodle Milo. When the sessions began, Milo took to her instantly, which, as any dog parent knows, says everything. She was calm, confident, and clearly very experienced. Her understanding of behavior, timing, and technique was impressive, and she shared practical, actionable tips that we could implement right away. Due to her upcoming travel, we had to shorten our training schedule. What truly reinforced our respect for her was her integrity: she felt it wouldn’t be fair on Milo to start something she couldn’t see through properly, and she proactively referred us to a trainer friend. That recommendation turned out to be excellent as well. Her sincerity, depth of knowledge, and genuine concern for the dog’s well-being are what set her apart. We’re very grateful for the time she spent with us and would wholeheartedly recommend her services.
