I went to the pet plus hospital and knocked on the door but there was no response for 25to30 minutes. The cat was taken to a doctor on 8August, who diagnosed an infection and administered an injection after weightning the cat. The owner was not informed about the injection purpose. After returning home, the cat's condition worsened, leading them to another hospital. At the second hospital, upon showing the medication, the doctor identified the medicine. "The doctor said that this medicine is not for kitten, it is for young adult. Due to the bad effects of them medicine, I lost my 2 months old kitten ( milo ) ." Doctor is not good.

This hospital is not fit to care for pets. We came to them with 5 stray pups on Friday evening (12 Mar 2021) suffering from Parvovirus. We paid them Rs. 20,000 upfront for in-house treatment at a cost of Rs. 2000/pup/day. They updated us until Sat and suddenly were unreachable on Sun. I sent a colleague to check on them, only to be sent photos of 4 pups, with the 5th one apparently being in "quarantine". Next day (Mon) when I made a surprise visit, to my shock I found that the pups were being kept in a small cage in the men's toilet! Their cage had not been cleaned since Fri evening (3 days!) and the food bowl was full of excreta. This was medical malpractice since the animal excreta is what transmits this highly contagious Parvovirus. And to my further horror I found out that the 5th pup had died (apparently around 4pm Mon) and the body had already been disposed off without any notification. We have no way to believe or know the time of death (we suspect Sun itself and the quarantine was a lie). The reason that was given for storing the pups in the toilet was that the virus was highly contagious for other dogs. If that was the case, then why were they being housed in the Operation Theater between Fri-Sun?! Was the hospital not putting other animals in need of critical surgery at a higher risk? (I have more evidence than what I have posted and can share on request.) I immediately called another hospital to have them moved. The PetPlus hospital staff demanded another 15,000 be paid, which we refused. The only reason that I am not taking any formal action against them for gross negligence leading to death is because 4 of the 5 pups survived and are recovering well. I would never trust these people. They are money-minded, unprofessional, irresponsible, and frankly, do not care for pets the slightest.

I am sharing an experience my friend had recently at this vet. Pet parents, please beware! Do not take your pets to this vet. He doesn’t inform you before starting any treatment, doesn’t conduct blood tests before surgery, and even gives deworming medicine meant for dogs to cats. He is least bothered about animals and shows no care for them. The stray cat eventually passed away. Please do not make the mistake of taking your babies to him. Animals that go to him for treatment mostly end up dying. Seems like he only cares about money.
